First off, I want to say that the packaging is adorable and minimalist. All three can be fit inside one slot which comes helpful for travel purpose. And actually I did bring them along for my weekend getaway. 

The Potions Trio Hydration Set:
1. Hyaluronic Acid Ampoule 
2. Jojoba Oil Serum 
3. Peptide Ampoule 

Each contains 20 ml in a clear sealed-glass bottle with the dropper. 

I will review them by their orders in my routine. 

🤍 Peptide Ampoule
This is my first peptide product I have tried. I did not know what to expect, have been hearing good stuff about peptide helping with strengthen skin barrier. Couple first nights that I tried, it helped with my redness and overall complexion. The texture feels sticky to me, but it is scentless, so I am great with that. I find out the stickiness is from the collegen and elastin in it that helps maintianing skin's elasticity and texture. That makes me even love it more. I use them in the morning and at night I pair it with HA. 

🤍 Hyaluronic Acid Ampoule
The texture is not too heavy, yet it is not as hydrating for my skin. I would need to double-layer my moisturizer during PM routine. Still, it absorbs quickly and ready my skin for the next product. One more thing was I got those irritation from wearing masks, The Potions Hyularonic Acid sets my skin to calmer after the long day. 

𝒯𝒾𝓅 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝓌𝑜𝓇𝓀𝓈 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝓂𝑒: I mixed couple drops of HA together with one or two drops of Peptide Ampoule, applied it at night, I cannot stop staring at my face in the next morning. My skin texture has not been any better, and it looks radiant and smoother.

💛 Jojoba Oil Serum 
I used mixture-method by mixing the oil with my creamy moisture because I thought it would be greasy for my nighttime. But it was fast-absorbant and not as heavy as I thought it would be. It penetrates well into skin and locks up all the moisture without leaving any greasy feeling. 

💟 Overall: I really enjoy using the trio set. My skin has been leaning to the dry side because I did not spend much time for it. With the trio set, they are really cute looking that makes me happy to use it every morning. Jokes aside, they helped my skin's texture and hydration  remarkably. My overall skin does not look oily yet dehydrated anymore. There are still redness now and then, but with the help of The Potions, my irritation is getting lesser. I hope it would continue improve my skin barrier in the long term.

The green tea powder wash just seems quite abrasive on my skin even though I pour really tiny amount of the powder. And I do not want to leave it to waste. So, I hope to use it in a different way or for different purposes like as a wash off mask?! (maybe). But I have no idea how, 🙈

Hello everyone. 

Recently, my partner starts to concern about his skin. 🤭 I want to introduce a basic skincare routine for my partner that is simple and easy to follow through daily. I would love second opinions. 

Skin concern: 
Flaky dry, yet oily t-zone 
Milia, and tiny bumps on the chin area
Visible pores 

I plan to have: 
Cleanser: Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic acid 
Toner/exfoliant: Cosrx AHA/BHA clarifying toner 
Moisturiser: Cosrx Green tea Aqua Gel cream
Sunscreen: I have no idea 🤷‍♀️

Experience~
I have always seen this essence water on my feed and was always hesitant to try out due to the concern that it could have heavy finish on my oily skin. But gosh, I was wrong, big wrong!
BOJ Ginseng Essence Water has watery toner-like texture, no scent detected.
 
It is so so so so refreshing~ My skin loves it! It penetrates immediately into skin and gives my skin that radiant glow from within. That overthinking thought that this essence makes me skin oilier is proven wrong! I apply two layers of this essence, then serum, then another layer of essence every morning, literally every morning, and my skin have not been glower than this.

I love and really enjoy using this essence water as toner pad. Especially on hot and humid days, I soak the big round facial pads with BOJ essence water and leave them on my skin for 10 minutes.

This method works amazingly for me. My skin turns greasy and those visible pores saying 'hello' skin to refreshing, well-hydrated and my pores are less defined.

The scent is there, not too much, but I would love a fragrance-free one too 🤍✨

It doesn’t sting or irritate the eyes, and it removes all traces of makeup, dirt and oil without stripping the skin of its natural moisture. It has a mild floral fragrance similar to the Sun Milk. 

The cleanser helps to improve the skin texture and tone by gently exfoliating and nourishing the skin.

Overall, I really like this cleanser and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a gentle yet effective 2-in-1 cleanser that can remove makeup and impurities without compromising the skin’s moisture balance. It has a unique texture, a nice fragrance, a lovely packaging and a fun experience.

My skin tends to get oilier throughout the day. The serum minimizes that from happening. I am stunned. Yet I don’t feel dry or itchy at all, just soothing actually. Leave a subtle glow and refreshing finish. After weeks, my chin areas that was pretty bumpy from all the dairy products became smoother. For visible pigmentation would require longer usage.

I have always introduced active ingredient products slowly into my routines.
