I am prob alone on this! I started pre menopause early and I don’t wish it on my worst enemy. I didn’t think it could happen so early in my 40s and it hits like a freight train. My skin is so dry all of a sudden. And I am waking up drenched in sweat all night not to mention sweating all day. Does anyone have any tips. I guess even if you aren’t in pre menopause if you are used to sweating lots what are products you used to help or that stay on through sweat. Thanks!! I hate admitting this but I think younger women need to know and we need to talk about it!

Live in southern ca now so I forgot how to care for winter skin. But my skin has been SO dry. Does anyone have products that are for dry scaly winter skin on legs and arms. I don’t love thick creams so serums and layering creams is what I prefer…my skin feels so uncomfortable and it’s so dry and cracked that when I feel it I don’t even feel like I’m in the right body- so I need some help fast! ;)

Fellow skincare/makeup junkies how do you keep all of the samples you receive with purchases organized so they are easy to access and use. I have huge file boxes filled with all the stuff I get sent and I just put it away in a drawer. I was wondering if anyone had any clever organizational tips they could share?

I’m Gen X and still consider myself a technology challenged person so I wasn’t aware of all the tricks that can be done on video and pics I just thought a new generation of people have perfect hair and skin and teeth! Haha  Now that I have seen the crazy things that video and photo editing and filters can do I feel like it’s kind of scary. I don’t care about people in private life choosing to edit their photos! You do you! What I am talking about is people who influence our purchases showing us skin and hair that is filtered or edited. Do you think that people selling something should have to disclose if they are using a filter? I mean with ads they have done it for years but we all know that since these are supposed to be ‘people just like us’ it seems at best a sneaky way to get more followers and sell things that maybe don’t do what they say. After #mascaragate if you know you know…it made me think twice about all that I am seeing

There is a little bit of a floral scent and sometimes as i get older that gets harder for me to take! 

Gentle- i cant take high levels of glycolic and this doesnt leave me red or itchy
It is a cream mask formula that you only leave on 10 minutes less if you are just looking for a quick pick me up before you do your skincare or apply makeup
It comes from the vinoperfect line whose purpose is brightening and working on skin discoloration. 
Come in a tube which makes it good for travel and also good to not get bacteria into. 
My skin doesnt feel dry or irritated afterward and feels smooth

If you use during day you need to use a thinner layer or rinse- it will leave a layer of moisture behind that pills if you want to apply anything on top of it. 

Love how soft it leaves my face!!. Whenever my skin is feeling crazy and is dry and itches but also feels like it needs to be exfoliated i use this mask. You dont need to rinse off so its a mask i use before bed. Let it absorb.  I am sensitive to smell and this doesnt have a detecable scent. No irritation whatsoever with this. Use before bed and wake up with soft skin. Its an amazing mask for kind of a reset for the skin. The name is perfect. If you can imagine that your skin could feel jet lagged…exhausted, dry, not like normal…in need of rest and water. Its nice to not have to rinse off its a good mask to start off with if you are just trying to get into skin care but still find you are too tired at the end of the day- since you dont have to wait for anythjng to dry, remove it and finish your routine with cream. This functions as a mask and as a cream. Sometimes i will put oil on top of it to lock all the moisture in. You have to wait longer than 10 min so it has dried and doesnt pill. 

I dont like the smell. But the good thing is that it disappears when it goes on your skin! 

This is something I was  sent and didn’t buy myself but here are my thoughts.  It’s hard for me to look at my sagging skin and wrinkles but I think using filters is getting out of hand and especially if I am taking someone’s word in a review! @perriconemd , #perriconebeautysleep , #sponsored 💕I actually really like it I can be sensitive to retinols and have kind of found my groove with a brand but I was excited to try this because I like the idea of having my retinol and night cream together- one less step right. 💕The only thing that gets me is the smell in the jar but it goes away as soon as you get it on your face. 💕It’s perfect for my dry skin- the cream feels thick but becomes more viscous when you get it on your skin. I have been able to use it every night for the past 2 weeks- I can’t speak to anything it has done for wrinkles but my skin is absolutely brighter. 💕I have had zero irritation and my skin feels the softest it ever had. The only purging I have had is oh and around my nose as it’s so congested. But nothing horrible or uncomfortable. Sometimes I will put a barrier cream or balm on top of it to make sure there is no irritation and so I get all the hydration that I need in the desert. I absolutely would buy it again. I think it’s a easy and gentle way to do retinol. You don’t have to think of all the steps and wait to apply layers.

I used to go to Asia for 2 long trips at least 2 times a year and depending on the country- could make a huge skin care haul…but even having to buy in the US prices on K and J beauty are so reasonable; however as i get older i am starting to develop sensitivity to certain smells and this cream has the smell of floral Laundry detergent- it really gets me feeling nauseous when i apply it but thank goodness the smell goes away when the cream dries down and sinks in! And even though it has a scent the cream still is effective on my dry sensitive skin and doesnt irritate it one bit- its only my growing inability to stand strong floral scents.

This leaves my skin very soft.  The packaging us why i initially bought it along with the serum. Now that i havent been able to go to Asia, and havent been in big cities where I could shop in store i end up doing it on websites in big hauls- and packaging is always something that lures me in. The texture is what you would expect from ‘snail’ its a gel like cream- not thick, and has a bit of that snail mucin tackiness and viscosity to it but it dries down with any stickiness even when i apply lots of it. Doesnt irritate my skin at all- plays nicely with the snail essence by the same brand. Is a reasonable price for the quality!

The only bad thing is there arent any brick and mortar stores to try the shades out. You have to order all her producys online if you want them. Hopefilly she will get into US stores!! But the company has a really great customer service department!

Lisas lippies are a dream. I have several of the Velvet line - which are soft yet at the same time opaque. They do not dry out lips! There is a more satin line that also is completely colorful but has a slick finish very moisturizing and the colors are natural and maybe more for people who dont like bold colors. This one i am showcasing here is the intenswly saturated line which are colors super saturatwd with color- matte yet somehow do not dry your lips out! They are magic! Lisa is so carefil to make colors that have historical significance and she showcases them on all skin tones. I am not usually a lipstick girl but i will rock LE any day! They are also gorgeous bullets and the print on the lipstick looks like velvet!
