I just noticed that picky added a skincare log to their app!!!!

This is the most smartest and helpful thing ever! I love how it goes by the calendar, you can add what products you used and add pictures of your skin...

this is exactly what I needed 1-3 years ago when my skin was going through a lot of changes. I used to take pictures and just write down things by hand in a notebook to keep track of what products I was using and if they had any irritating effects on the skin. If I had this feature on the app back then, it would've made things so much easier 😅

I hope users can utilize this funtion to keep track of their progress and see what works for them!

But from someone who's done all that, here is some advice:

1. Sometimes you'll know right away if a product is good or bad for your skin. Listen to your gut and don't use something if it actually *feels* bad to use. You'll know if something is irritating right away.
2. If somethings doesn't look like it's giving an *effect* on the skin, that doesn't mean you should stop using it after a week or so. Let your skin just be. Sometimes something will work right away. Sometimes it'll take a few months before you see something. Bottom line, don't feel discouraged if your pictures don't look significantly different right away. You should take joy in using each and every product and build a routine that you feel good using. Get to know your skin and do what makes it *feelsgood* not what makes it *look good*.
3. Progress photos are good to see how far you've come, but only when  a long time has passed. Don't obsess over photos and check in every day. Take photos maybe after you try a new product, or once every week. You can't rush good progress.
4. Have fun! It's cool to look back and be reminded of your old routine. To see products that you used to love using and forgot about. To see products that you once needed but not anymore. To see how your skin has not only changed in appearance but in skin type! Record your skincare journey for your future self!

**UPDATE** Everything works fine now!

I’m trying to submit my reviews with the google forms attached to my picky email, but it keeps saying that I “can’t access the item because it is in violation of our terms of service.”

Does anyone else have this problem? And does picky staff know about this yet? 

I need to send in my reviews asap 😭😭hopefully it gets fixed.

Google Forms not working?

Not something that will give you a lot of hydration, just something to lightly moisturize with and soothe the skin.  

This is super soft and hydrating! It soaks in very quickly, but still leaves a nice layer of hydration. It's the perfect lotion to put on after being in the sun! & There's a slight cooling effect, and there is no scent.

I really love the feel of this product on my skin! It is a very lightweight serum that blends in lightly on the skin. It doesn't leave a sticky or glowy finish. It is more fresh and hydrating, which I love! I also love the scent of it which reminds me of the no. 3 serum (a lychee fruit scent, but not as strong). 

I havent been able to use this serum long enough to see many effects, but it definitely made my skin feel glowy, fresh, and brighter in the morning. It gave me that healthy skin feeling, which I love! It also did a good job at keeping my skin hydrated overnight, since I have dry skin and need that extra moisture in my night routine.

I'm excited to continue using this and will update this review on the long term results! 

The lower spf coverage is a downside for those with fair skin or those who are outside for a long time.

I received this product for free from Picky and Isntree in exchange for my honest review! I really like chemical sunscreen formulas, and this one does the job! It is lightweight and blends in super well. It leaves a refreshing and cool feeling on the skin. This is slightly different from the infamous watery sun gel. It is a little thicker, but it’s not sticky or tacky. It’s actually less glowy. Like the name, I think it’s great for average-everyday use. 

The Dokdo Ampule really surprised me! I wasn’t expecting much from it, but it was extremely nourishing and hydrating! As you can see in the video, it’s a really light gel type, but the finish is very hydrating and glowy. I haven’t seen an ampoule this glowy before! 🌟🌟 It feels like my skin is instantly soothed and as if there is a hydrating barrier protecting my skin from environmental elements! ☺️☺️ It is seriously a must try! I hope more people start talking about it because I’m surprised that not a lot of people have before.

Nothing bad about this product. I just wish it came in a bigger size :(

The Dokdo cleansing oil is very light and soothing. This is one of the lightest cleansing oils I’ve used! It feels really nice and washes off completely, leaving no heavy residue. It also has a nice light floral scent, I think it comes from the natural oils in the product.
