I’ve been dealing with alot of breakouts, redness and irritation lately and I just wanted to reach out and ask what are your HGs for calming and soothing the skin when it is going through a rough patch. Which products you can’t live without?

My current favourites are the I’m From Mugwort Essence and Mugwort mask. The real mugwort calming mask from I’m Sorry For My Skin is also godsend!! Yes mugwort is definitely one if my favourite ingredients for irritation 💚

Laneige lip sleeping mask for me!! The texture is just unpleasant and it feels like it just sits on my lips. It is so sticky and a nightmare for my pillows. When i wake up, my lips feel the same if not drier than usual. I have a strong dislike for this product 😭😭😭

💭Thoughts:
I was definitely a bit nervous to begin using this product as my forehead do be oily sometimes. This is the first time I’ve incorporated an oil into my skincare routine and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight it was. It doesn’t feel heavy or sticky and a little of this product definitely goes a long way. I was so afraid that this oil would make me looked like I dumped my face into a deep fryer but all it did was give me a nice subtle glow when used as the last step of my night routine. It does a great job at moisturising the skin and locking everything in till the following morning. I also attempted to use this product on my hands. I have found that it is absolutely amazing for cuticle care. As my hands do get a little dry regardless of the weather, this oil is great for nourishing my cuticles, leaving them looking healthy and smooth. Overall, this is a great introductory product into the world of oils due to all the possible uses. I think this would work best for dry skin, especially in winter. I will definitely be saving this for when it gets colder again.

💭Thoughts:
This cleanser is a runny gel with dried cica leaves suspended throughout the formula. I absolutely love the herbal scent as it feels super relaxing & therapeutic, think aromatherapy. You only need a small amount as it lathers really well to form a soft and smooth foam. It doesn’t drag on the skin and washes off without leaving any residue. I love using this at night time for the added soothing benefits to help calm my skin after a long day. This cleanser leaves my skin clean, soft and hydrated. Definitely one of my new favourite cleansers for oily skin!!



Scent might be a little strong for some people 👀

This is a super nourishing cream without the heaviness that you would typically expect. It has a silky/creamy consistency that spreads easily without streaking but can take a minute to fully absorb. It does have quite a strong scent so do be wary of it. I like how this all-in-one cream deeply moisturises and leaves the skin soft, plump and glowy. I can’t really say much about the anti-aging benefits but I do like how this is able to keep my skin hydrated all night especially since I tend to keep the heater on at night during the winter.

Can’t really say anything regarding long term use but I do like this!!

This is a lightweight lotion which targets skin elasticity by boosting collagen production. I love the consistency of this product!! Its so smooth and silky, perfect to softening and plumping the skin without feeling heavy or greasy. Ilove the bounce this emulsion gives me skin. I think this is great for both day and night time use. I need to try more from Coxir
now 🥹

I find this mask pack slightly heavier than the cream. It is super nourishing and can replace your pm moisturiser for some extra TLC when your skin needs a little pick me up. I’ve tried this both as a wash off mask as well as a leave on mask, I think I prefer to wash it off before bed as it does seem to sit on the skin. It also gets a bit too heavy for warmer nights but otherwise it’s perfect for the winter time to help heal and rejuvenate dry skin. I like how this leaves the skin firm and bright!!
