PURE’AM ph Balancing Calmin Toner 

I received this product for free from Picky and PURE’AM in exchange for my honest review. 

What I Liked:

✨ It has milky texture and gets absorbed by the skin quickly.
✨ INCI list is great. Key ingredients: ceramide, glycerin, aloe, centella asiatica; some of my favorites for hydration and calming/soothing skin.
✨ I have rosacea and when i use this, i skip the azelaic acid step in my routine. I haven’t had a real rosacea flare up recently but i feel it is keeping my redness at bay.
✨ It has no fragrance or scent which is great for sensitive skin folks like me.
✨ I use it right after cleansing in morning (sometimes at night too) and it plays well with other products. 
✨ I can’t use it as the only hydration product in winters but that would probably work in summer for my combination skin.
✨ It came with a hand written note and i really loved it. In today’s world, that is a rarity which made me smile and enhanced my experience.


What I didn’t like:

⚡️Medicube Routine Set Review⚡️

I haven’t used these products for long enough to give a thorough review just yet, so sharing my first impressions today.

What I liked:

✨The packaging of all 3 products is gorgeous and they feel so luxurious.
✨Vitamin C has pure 13.5% ascorbic acid and it comes in 3 small opaque bottles; which is great to keep the vitamin c last long.
 ✨Both the cream and the essence seem hydrating.

What I didn’t like:
✨All products have added fragrance which is not great if you are sensitive to smell or have sensitive skin in general.

Nothing bad but just one comment..

Although there are a few clinical studies on benefits of beevenom and snail filtrate in skincare products, i wish a lot more studies were conducted so we would have much better data to support these ingredients..

💦 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗻𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗕𝗲𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄💦

I have been wanting to try snail mucin for some time now but could never muster the courage to actually buy it because of the fear that i would hate the texture and never use it. So I was super excited when I got a chance to try this Essence. This not only has snail mucin but also has bee venom🙃. I did some research on bee venom before using this essence (since the bee venom part kind of freaked me out a bit 🤷‍♀️) and I was pleasantly surprised. In theory, bee venom increases blood flow to the area it is applied on, bringing fresh oxygen and nutrients, and produces collagen and elastin which are great for addressing wrinkles and fine lines. 

𝙏𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡: the texture of this essence is neither gooey nor sticky, even though the main ingredient is snail mucin. It is actually on the watery side just a bit higher in viscosity. It is easy to apply and gets absorbed in the skin fairly quickly. It has no sticky feeling after application either. It has no artificial colors or fragrance which is great for my sensitive skin. 

𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙨: I have used it every night for the past 2 weeks and my skin definitely feels plumper, tighter and the forehead expression lines seem reduced. In terms of hyperpigmentation, i don’t really have much pigmentation (thanks to my existing routine 😎) so can’t comment on that. In terms of hydration, I definitely feel my skin was hydrated after using this. I used 1 pump worth every night right after double cleanse and it has made a world of difference.

𝗠𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: This overnight hydrating mask/moisturizer has a thick texture, smells awesome and feels very luxurious to touch and apply. It sinks in the skin quickly and makes your face feel soft and supple. It has tons of great ingredients like squalane, hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and betaine that hydrate the skin thoroughly and seal in the moisture. It also has great antioxidant superberries and THD ascorbate (a stable form of Vitamin C) that helps brighten and even the skin tone and gives you a glowing skin when you wake up. 

I don’t prefer skincare products with fragrances because they can irritate the skin and added fragrance is especially bad for sensitive skin so when I smelled the wonderful yummy smell in this mask I was concerned. However, after some research I found out there is no added fragrance, it is the natural fragrance of the super berries used in the product so it seems safe for sensitive skin too.

Since it has a thick texture, I do not use it daily but I do use it once or twice a week or whenever my skin feels a bit more dry than usual. If you have normal/dry skin, you can perhaps use it daily but if you have combination or oily skin, I recommend using it occasionally. My son has normal/dry skin and he loves this mask (mostly because of it’s smell and how luxurious it feels) and uses it almost daily without any issues.

Overall a good purchase and I recommend it !!

It is very lightweight, moisturizers well for a few hours, and works really well for a natural makeup look. It has a matte finish.. the packaging is amazing and the magnetic closure is very convenient. It also comes with a cute key chain ..

It does have fragrance, however, it is not too strong and is a nice one. I have sensitive skin so I usually stay away from fragrances in my skincare products but this one didn’t give me any issues and I am now on my second jar. I do wish though that this came in a non-fragrance version too.

💦 L'oreal Paris - Collagen Moisture Filler Day/Night 💦 

What it is: a day and night collagen moisturizer that hydrates and fills in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles resulting in smoother plumper skin.

Key Ingredients: Tocopherol, Glycerin, Sodium Chondroitin sulfate, Boswellia Serrata Extract. It has lots of emollients, humectants, antioxidants and skin soothing ingredients.

Price: $8.99/1.7oz; Available @target, @amazon

Review: It has a non-greasy creamy texture that gets absorbed fairly quickly in the skin. I love how it feels on my face and it definitely does what it says - i.e, provides great hydration and fills in the fine lines and wrinkles making my skin looking young and plump. It is on the thicker side so i don’t use it as often in summer but in winter when my skin is more dry, I use it multiple times a week, sometimes even daily.

I also love the fact that L’oreal Paris didn’t market it incorrectly by saying it will stimulate collagen growth like some of the other collage creams in the market. Reminder - collagen creams only temporarily reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and this one does it flawlessly.
 
This is a very very affordable moisturizer and a little goes a long way. This is my favorite collagen cream and great for anyone with normal, dry and combo skin.

Niacinamide is at 10% which could be a bit much for some. Works great for me though.

Niacinamide is one of my facorite ingredients and this one from TO works great for me. It is viscous and on the thicker serum side but gets absorbed fairly quickly and doesn’t leave a tacky finish. The price is $5.90 which is amazing.
