Anyone has a reccomendations for any Asian brand physical or hybrid sunscreen with a matte finish?

I find my skin to be oilier in this hot and humid summer so I am opting for other sunscreen. I used Skin Aqua Moisture Milk which now has giving me that oilier finish.

A preference for my kind of matte finish sunscreen is First Lab's Ildong Sun Cream. It has a really matte finish. However it's hard to find it nowadays because it is really easy to sold out in my country😭

Mattifying Asian Sunscreen

Hi! Does layering a non-targeted actives product (e.g. toner or moisturizer) with niacinamide and a targeted niacinamide serum will add up the niacinamide total percentage going into your skin? (e.g. toner with 0,1% niacinamide + niacinamide serum 10% = 10,1% niacinamide?? Or no?)

I have been accidentally using a toner with Niacinamide as one of the ingredients, a Niacinamide 10% serum, and a moisturizer also with Niacinamide in iy and since that day I somehow get slight cystic breakout. However, when I only have my Niacinamide from the serum in my previous routine, my skin didn't break out. I suggest that it comes from the over-layering? What are your thoughts?

Packaging — Glass jar are fragile to break if not kept properly. 

Texture and Fragrance — Fragrance might be very stinging on preference (to me, it&#39;s very stinging).

Effects— Silicone might clog the pores if your previous layers consists of oils. Sometimes, I tend to get slight breakout if I don&#39;t double cleanse in the morning after using it.

Notable Ingredients and Claims— This moisturizer highlights Sodium Hyaluronate as a skin humectant, Prebiotics as an amplifier to produce natural HA, and Trehalose for moisture ressurection properties in giving hydration lock. It is alcohol free however not silicone free. Other packaging claims include it&#39;s said to be dermatologist tested, oil free, hypoallergenic, and non-comedogenic.

Packaging — Made out of a heavy glass jar with 50 gr. Lids included, however not provided with a spatula.

Texture and Fragrance — Texture is likely gooey water gel, very lightweight and easily to absorb  on skin. Fragrance is quite strong, you can remember it like that hair wash that you usually meet in your bathroom.

Effects— The big picture claim of this moisturizer is to give hydration and locking the hydration at the same time to your skin up to 72 hours. I can&#39;t say it really works until 72 hours since I never leave it that long, but I can say it locks up my hydration really well without giving any negative reactions for almost a day. My skin feels hydrated, moisturized with a velvet-matte finish, yet &quot;sealed&quot; by the silicone on top of my skin even to the time when I have to stay up late (which at this time my skin tends to get greasier). I say this is a very ideal moisturizer for a resilient oily skin like me.

At some times it doesn&#39;t really help with acne dry patches, but we can solve this by just applying on more layers.

A product that is effective to hydrate, soothe, and helps with my dehydration... after a long search! And it&#39;s Tiam B5 Toner💦👀 Targets for dehydrated and dull skin, but suitable for any types including oily skin!

✦ Packaging and Ingredients
Comes in a clear and sturdy plastic bottle with turn cap and an ideal sized pit to prevent slopping. This toner comes with four effective ingredients focusing on hydration, soothing, and balancing. Panthenol and Peptide works as handy healing properties while enhancing the skin barrier. Meanwhile, Panthenol also works with Betaine and Hydrolyzed Collagen in hydrating while giving additional skin elasticity. It has a pH of 5 to 6.

✦ Texture and Aroma
You can find this as a watery clear toner with semi-thick texture. It&#39;s scentless, and when applied it feels a bit slippery before it quickly absorbs into the skin. It can be slightly tacky, but it&#39;s still comfortable to use this for layers since it leaves a lightweight hydrating and slightly supple finish.

✦ Claims vs Experience?
I don&#39;t have to worry a thing using watery toners in any situation since I have this! Quite surprised that other than it is hydrating and soothing just like the claims, it DOES improve out my dehydration significantly on a one week usage. I can feel my dehydrated patch is smoother by now~ Other than that, it effectively helps to soothe redness and inflammation especially after I do my chemical exfoliation.

Notable Ingredients — A neutral one but it is not silicone free and not fragrance free. There is also Retinyl Palmitate, in case anyone avoids.

Packaging and Fragrance — Doesn&#39;t come with lid and any spatula. Fragrance might be disturbing on preference.

Texture — Despite it&#39;s lightweight, but it tends to pill if you rub it when  in warmer temperature. I suggest to use this in colder temperatures.

Claims and Effect — I WOULD have love it as a great moisturizer if it doesn&#39;t give me the break out. Also, it gives me slight sting on some parts when I first used this. Every time I wake up after I applied this in my night routine, my T-zone always ended up greasy, as it may be either too moisturizing to me despite the lightweight feel.

Notable Ingredients — Peach Ceramide and Lactobacillus Paste are the main ingredients for this moisturizer. There is also Sodium Hyaluronate as a humectant. It is alcohol free and paraben free. It is a humectant to medium emollient moisturizer.

Packaging and Fragrance — This moisturizer is made out of plastic jar that is quite sturdy to hold the moisturizer. Quite noticeable peach fragrance, however not disturbing, morely enjoyable.

Texture — Gel cream with a water base that glides really fresh to your skin. Very lightweight and smooth. However, it might take slightly longer time to absorb into your skin.

Claims and Effect — 
✨ Strengthen skin barrier: Haven&#39;t tried this for a long time so I haven&#39;t felt any impacts to this.
✨ Enhance skin elasticity: Indeed that it gives the elasticity from the hydration given
✨ Hydrating the skin: Yes, it gives the hydration moreover in cold temperatures.
✨ Brightening: Not feeling any impact from this
✨ Pore tightening and keeping skin to be smooth: One of the effect I felt the most, it blurs my pore appearance and making my skin to feel smoother. A great alternatives to makeup primers!

The only thing that you should be aware is that it&#39;s not alcohol-free, although alcohol placed very last in the ingredients list so it is supposed not to strip away all your sebum, supposedly working as something else.

Watery hydrating toner with notable ingredients of Squalane, Hatomugi Extract, and Hyaluronic Acid. The difference from other Hada Labo lines is that this one is targeted for oily and blemished skin so it claims more to control sebum production. It is a fragrance free product.

Packaging wise, it is made out of plastic bottle with flip top cap and contains 170 ml of it, making it to be affordable as a drugstore project.

As for the texture, this toner is watery, transcluscent. You can feel a slight &quot;cold&quot; sensation when using this. It absorps quickly just like other HL toner but slighty having a less tackier finish other than the original white bottle toner.

I really love this toner as this is able to controil my sebum production throughout the day and keeping my skin to be lightly moisturized. I never had problems in layering this product on top of any products.

It is a high alkaline cleanser (pH 8,7-9,9) which might be too drying for drier skin. Also stings the eyes. Don&#39;t expect too much from a claimed multi-functioned product if it&#39;s not targeted for your skin✌🏻

This soap consist of coconut oil, palm kernel oil, jojoba oil,  and olive oil as the base of this. Despite the seemingly heavy ingredients, you will find this to be a very watery cleanser and you&#39;ll just need 2-3 drops of it for the face. It gives a moderate bubbly texture when lathered. Since this is peppermint variant of the castile soap, it also gives a refreshing sense especially on your T-zone after you wash it. It is slightly drying but it doesn&#39;t dry your skin for too much.
