I will be honest with you and say that I am not great at keeping up with body lotion🥴 I love to spend time on skincare for my face but never for my body… which I know is crazy! Lol

Anyways, I usually like the Aveeno brand for body lotions but lately I haven’t found the one I usually go for so wanted to see if anyone had alternatives to body lotions they find that help repair dry skin and that is inexpensive.

I recently purchased this toner in hopes of controlling my acne. I read and watched a lot of reviews on the product and really hopeful but wanted to see what others thought about it. I plan on putting this into my nightly skincare routine.

Fav summer Products for oily/combo acne prone skin in the

I seen a lot of people on Tik Tok talk about how they use this product from Dr. Pimple Popper to help control their maskne. I recently purchased it and going to be trying it out in the next couple of weeks. My maskne flaired up a bit now that I have been going to the gym and wearing my mask while working out. 

What a lot of people have been doing is spraying it in their mask and/or a few sprits on their face.

Have you guys tried this? 🧚🏽‍♀️✨

What do you think about the SLMD Salicylic Acid Body Spray?

I personally do not see anythjng bad about this product. But there are some notes to consider:

❌ this is not vegan (due to the snail secretion)
❌ may not be great to use alone for dry skin as it is not super hydrating. I have been pairing this with the Full Fit Propolis Light Ampoule on my cheeks as I am a bit dryer in that region and don’t find the essence to hydrate enoufh on its own.

It has been a week since I’ve been using this product and I absolutely love it and wish infound it sooner! This snail essence makes my face feel baby smooth! At first, I was only using it nightly but found it to be lifht enough to use it in the day time as well. The way I apply this essence is on damp skin or after toning. I also sometimes apply two layers just for some extra hydration. This is a definite ✨holy grail✨ for me and worth all the hype.

p.s I have oily/combo acne prone skin ⛈

In my opinion, I don’t think this is great for dry skin types. Maybe for someone who has really oily skin, but my oily/combo skin was not loving this unfortunately. I really wanted to like it. 

Innisfree Hydrating Cleanser With Green Tea

✨My Personal experience:✨

When I first saw this product, I was really excited because I love products with green tea extract on it as it helps soothe my oily/combo acne-prone skin.

The texture I felt when using this cleanser is very soft, almost like a thick moisturizer. When lathered up with water at first feels very hydrating, like a creamy foam should. Though after rinsing the product off, my skin was left super dry, almost stripped even. It left my skin feeling “sqeaky clean” and I personally do not love that feeling. I also want to mention that it does have a slight scent to it, nothing too powerful but it was not my favorite and I did not get used to it either. But I am very sensitive to smell so I either like it or I don’t.

I don’t think its best for all skin-types especially dry/senstive. It also does not mix well with water. I find that ACV activates it better. Just make sure you are not mixing with a metal applicator or you will mess with the activation of the clay. 

This was my very first mask i ever purchased when i started getting into skincare! I used to use it on days I flared up on my whole face but now I use it only in my T-Zone area as its best for oily skin areas. Its best to mix with ACV. Another way I use this clay mask is when my scalp is super oily/itchy, I will make a hair mask and apply to my hair and my curls seem more refreshed after and scalp is clear. 

Nothing bad about this moisturizer, only thing is I am not sure if it is helping treat my acne or not. But I know SA is great for pwople with clogged pores as it penetrates deep into the skins barrior. I will add not to use this with other SA products. Might be too much especially if you have more sensitive skin. 

I’ve been using thisin my daily day skincare routine on days where I feel extra oily. It is very gentle and mattifying. Perfect for my combination skin (I am very oily in my T-Zone and slightly dry on my cheeks). 

I absolutely love using these on days I see that I have a few pimple flaring up. I tend to pick at my pimples a lot so this helps me to keep from I just put them on before I go to bed and wake up and my pimple is a lot smoother and flatter. Sometimes I have a pimple thats hurts and then when I wake up the swelling goes down. Definitely recommend this product for people who occasionally breakouts. Also loves that it comes in 3 different size patches.
