Hi Picky Community,

I would love to pick up a book that would give me a good grounding and foundational knowledge on skincare that based in science.

I am learning a lot from articles and information that people share in this community but I would really like to be able to sit down and consume a book that will explain multi step skin care regimes, how chemicals interact, the order of layering etc. Just to fill in any gaps in my knowledge and help me to be more discerning as a consumer and reviewer?

Could people please share book recommendations?

Skincare book recommendations

I'm going to a Sephora shop in London for the first time ever in a few weeks. We don't have Sephora in Ireland so it's a big deal for me! 
Does anyone have recommendations on what I should pick up while I'm there? I'm definitely going to get some JVN hair products to try!

The bullet is fragile and can snap if you're not careful when you twist it up the full length. Hard to read the shade name from the base label as there's a lot of small text.

Very natural shade for my lips. I like that it is skincare and has hyaluronic acid to hydrate the lips and SPF25 which will be so handy for summer 🏝️🌞

No negatives to report! I really like this product!

Easy to dispense, absorbs easily into skin, the hyaluronic acid helps lock in moisture. It doesn't have a fragrance and doesn't feel heavy on the skin.
The product is refillable, for example you can return empties to their shop on Grafton Street in Ireland for recycling.

I've had this for a while so the lettering on the front is a bit faded - it's well loved! I adore that it has SPF30, is fragrance free, has hyaluronic acid and peptides and gives my skin a rosy gold glow. I would either wear it by itself or under a tinted moisturizer. It dries down smooth and doesn't pill.

This unfortunately stung my eyes. I'll keep using it to finish out the tube but not near my eyes..

This did a great job of removing a full face of makeup. It's fragrance free and has a novel jelly texture.

When using it as an exfoliant I did not feel particles coming out of my skin (it was still pleasant to roll around my fave though!)

I've been using this for a while now in my morning and evening skin care routine. This is a vegan alternative to snail mucin and I've never tried anything like this before. I love love the glowy glass effect it gives my skin.
