For me:
 1. double cleansing
 2. adding a vitamin c serum in the morning - made all the difference in brightening my skin and lightening acne marks
3. Putting on mutliple layers of toner - made my skin less dry and I notice my skin instantly plumps up. 
4. Avoiding products with alcohol - this ingredient I found out made my skin even drier

What changes did you make in your skincare regimen that resulted in a positive outcome for you?

I just started retinol 0.2% last night. Used the sandwich method and will be using it only once a week. 

 My skin felt okay in the morning after.  Put on some vitamin c and sunscreen. But come evening, my skin could not tolerate azelaic acid. It felt like it was burning. 

I read azelaic acid and retinol is okay together but my face could not tolerate it. I had to wash my face after. 

I deliberately used azelaic acid on a different day to avoid any irriation.   

What is your routine the day after your “retinol night”?

Can anyone make any recommendations?

I dont really see the need of a eye cream because I feel like they are just expensive mini moisturizers. 

But Im willing to try. 

Currently looking for eye cream that can help dark circles and possibly those that help fight wrinkles.

The one gripe I have is, I’m not a fan of the dispenser. It’s a pop up cap, wherein you have to twist it to open then squeeze the contents. Its difficult to gauge how much of the product it dispenses. I find it quite a hassle to have to constantly wipe off the excess cream and it tends to get messy. If this moisturizer wasn’t so damn good, I would probably not repurchase because of it. 

I’ve been using 𝘌𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘚𝘰𝘰𝘯 𝘑𝘶𝘯𝘨 2𝘹 𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘳 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 for days my skin needs a little TLC. Its been perfect to use when my skin is a tad bit sensitive. 

At first glance, you’d mistake the texture as lightweight, even lotion-type, but once applied you’d feel this has a bit of weight to it. It takes a while to absorb though, and I find it to be streaky if I put on too much. Once it settles and absorbs, it feels heavenly to the skin, like putting on a soft silky cloth over your face.

Nonetheless, it’s a simple moisturizer but it works and does the job damn well too. Plus, this might become a new staple in my routine. I understand now why many love this product.

» I’m partially biased when a product smells good especially if its a citrusy smell. I love how this smells so nice. The texture is a clear gel serum that feels very cooling and easily melts on your skin. I can’t attest to any brightening on my hyperpigmentation as I haven’t used this that long but it’s definitely promising. It does have a couple of EOs on this though but I’m happy to note my skin didn’t react to it.

— I have tried the old version and I can confidently say, I prefer the new one. 💕 First off, it still contains pure ascorbic acid, however they upped the percentage into 10%. Also, this time, they even added 3% of niacinamide into the mix. While the old version, leaves an oily finish and gives a warmth feeling on my cheeks, this new charging serum does not. Despite, the higher percentage of vitamin c, it feels lightweight and makes my skin feel more hydrated probably because it also contains panthenol.

 — I really like the new packaging too as this comes in a pump and no more clear glass packaging! There is nothing I dislike more than finding my vitamin c serum has oxidized before I can even finish the whole thing.  I am glad klairs has listened to their consumers. I didn’t experience any irritation nor has my skin felt that usual warm tingling feeling I get when using strong vitamin c serums. I still recommend everyone to do a patch test first though before using.

— Such a small ampoule but packs a lot in terms of its ingredients. Contains propolis, royal jelly extract, niacinamide, panthenol and even ethyl ascorbic acid. It has a thick jelly consistency that with just a few drops feels very nourishing. Who doesn’t love propolis in the skincare?

 Unfortunately, this sunscreen did not work for me. It stings and was very irritating on my skin. I did a patch test first on one part of my face then tried it on my whole face when I thought it was okay. Initially, I chalked it off to my skin being extra sensitive but then the tingling sensation turned into a stinging burn on my cheeks. After washing my face, thats when I felt the irritation on my eyelids and forehead. I wanted to like it because its the first time I have seen a sunscreen with this unique light gel texture but sadly, this isn’t for me.
