Woke up to this and I’m so happy 😪 I have to say, I kinda doubted if they really went through with MVP reviewers because I never really heard anyone receive it as much so this was a fat surprise! There’s nothing I can flaw from my own experiance but do build up tolerance if you are new to BHA! Start with alternating nightly (3 times a week) until your skin is comfortable with more usage.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐀 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫:
•salicylic acid, a beta hydroxy acid that exfoliates on the surface and in the pores. Also an anti-inflammatory agent.
•humectants such as glycerin and hydrolysed hyaluronic acid to aid skin hydration 
•3 essential ceramides (AP, NP, EOP) who all play an important role in having a healthy skin barrier and keeping the skin hydrated 
•gluconolactone is a PHA to help gently lift dead skin cells for smooth skin

𝐌𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞
I am a MASSIVE fan of salicylic acid since I’m quite scared of AHA’s on my skin, so this cleanser was a must. I had bought this along with my first ever established skin routine, so as my face was being introduced to a lot new products, I went through a purging stage. This cleanser not only helped subside the purging, but also reduced the amount of breakouts I’d receive. The big bottle is a beautiful size for the price, and I would definitely recommend this to congested skin and those who are new to BHA.

❎: The formulation now contains limonene and linalool, joining the bergamot fruit oil (which by the way, has been moved up the ingredient list so has increased in concentration). These are known to be the “fragrance” in the product, hence the strong smell when you first open it. This can be potentially irritating and sensitising to many skins, though iUNIK have expressed that this cream is still safe for sensitive skin. If essential oils and added fragrance is something you know your skin is not a fan of, I would avoid this product. Personally, I wasn’t aware of the fragrance and it is something I make sure to avoid - essential oils normally break me out. However, this product didn’t so there’s a thought to be considered. When it comes to repurchasing though, I am a bit put off.

𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: a refreshing and moisturising  gel cream enriched with centella leaf water 70% and tea tree leaf water 10% to gently lower skins temperature, effectively soothe and calm sensitive skin with blemishes.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
•centella asiatica extract has soothing, repairing and anti acne properties, strengthening our skin barrier whilst also showing evidence of preventing scarring 
•tea tree leaf water provides some soothing and antibacterial properties whilst deeply hydrating the skin
•niacinamide, vitamin B3 which fades brown spots and increases ceramide synthesis for a healthy skin barrier 

𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬:
•soothes redness and inflammation 
•relieve irritation 
•strengthen the skin barrier 
•prevent and reduce acne scarring 
•brightens skins complexion 

𝐌𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞:
✅: Though I have dry skin, this gel cream was more moisturising than I thought it would be. I had initially purchased it to be used as a treatment step, but now I can use this as a moisturiser in the morning along with my SPF. I have noticed that my inflamed ocasional breakouts calm down much quicker when using this gel. It has a really nice cooling effect whilst applying - it spreads BEAUTIFULLY, and the texture is nice gel which absorbs quickly. The combination of centella and tea tree is amazing for reducing irritation on my skin, and I love using this when I strip down my routine to the very basics every now and then.

❎: After using the balm a couple of times, I noticed small bumps appear on my cheeks. This was honestly such a shame as my skin reacted to perhaps the fragrance, but I can’t exactly pinpoint what my trigger was since the ingredient list is massive. Though it did work well around my eye makeup, it did sting so I didn’t really enjoy it. I wouldn’t really recommend this towards more sensitive skin types! I’m passing the balm onto my sister and hope she enjoys it more than I did.

𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: feather soft cleanser is all business as it dissolves dirt, oil and makeup, lifting impurities away from skin to be wiped or rinsed off. 

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
•various soothing ingredients including centella, rosemary, licorice and aloe 
•nourishing oils such as kernel oil and primrose oil which are good sources of fatty acids

𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬:
•soothes the skin
•effectively cleans away sunscreen and makeup 
•softens the skin 
•maintains a healthy skin barrier

𝐌𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞:
✅: I have used this a few times and as my first balm cleanser, here are the things I observed:
•soft balmy texture that instantly glides over the skin with ease - no gritty feeling 
•emulsified with ease as well, and turned into this nice milky liquid 
•you only need a bit to do the job, I used quite a lot at first 
•effectively cleaned away my makeup (I wear quite lightweight to medium coverage so I can’t speak for anything extreme) and works well with mascara as well 
•skin felt instantly soft afterwards, it was a nice balm to do a massage with and it didn’t leave any film 
I enjoyed using the balm as it honestly was quite relaxing to work around my face. Though these were the good things, I don’t think I’ll be continuing using this balm!

❎: the only thing I can be pick on is the smell - this be real strong. It doesn’t smell so strong at first but after applying, it definitely stands out more. It becomes a subtle citrus smell into this strong rubbery like scent. Since the results are pleasing, I’m putting up with it but this makes the experience slightly unpleasant sometimes.
Another point (updated after months of use) is to be careful with how often you use this. It is quite strong and you can easily overdo it on sensitive skin. Perhaps avoid on compromised skin or if you know you are extra sensitive, espeacially with essential oils.

*just an update about the smell - you do get used to it, just hard to tackle at first. It didn’t bother me at all at some point.

•tocopherol and panthenol (vitamin e and b3) provides nutritive benefits to the skin whilst keeping it healthy 
•collagen and hyaluronic acid to provide hydration 

𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬:
•brightens the skin 
•promotes firmer skin
•hydrates the skin 
•protects the skin (antioxidant) 
*contains an essential oil and sensitising extracts 

𝐌𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞:
✅: since I have sensitive skin, I was quite scared to try this serum. However, it did not disappoint. Upon my first application, I did not feel any stinging nor did I ever receive any irritation whilst using this. The serum delivered in many aspects:
•has a light watery consistency, can feel a little sticky at first but once absorbed, the tackiness is gone
•after just a few days of use, my inflamed spots and redness died down quite a lot
•skin appears less dull and gives a subtle glowy complexion 
•old PIH scars are really hard to tackle but I’ve noticed very slight improvement after the first two weeks - better than anything I’ve been using before this serum!
I must say this is a game-changer for me. I hope to give it more time and share some amazing results with you all!

There is nothing I can flaw to this product! Only advice is start slow if you are new to BHA so your skin can adjust and do not use BHA with other strong acids!

𝐌𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:
Anyone new to BHA, this is an an amazing first leave on BHA product to start with. Not only will it gently exfoliate your skin, but the added soothing and hydrating ingredients will reduce irritation. The texture of this toner is slightly more vicious than water but less of a gel - the skin absorbs it so easily. I recently started suffering with closed comedones and the anti bacterial properties with the surface exfoliation has made a MASSIVE difference. The texture on my skin which I thought was forever stubborn is finally starting to make progress! I love this toner and would recommend it to absolutely any skin type!
