What I Didn’t Like:

	•	Scent: The scent is mild, but it’s not my favorite. It’s not bad, just not something I personally enjoyed as much as other cleansers I’ve tried.
	•	Pricey: It’s a bit on the expensive side for a cleansing oil. I feel like there are more affordable options out there that work just as well for basic cleansing.


What I Loved:

	•	Gentle on Skin: This cleansing oil is super gentle and doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped or dry. It melts away makeup and dirt really well without any irritation, even around my eyes.
	•	Lightweight Formula: I love how lightweight it feels. It’s not heavy or greasy, which is great because it rinses off easily without leaving any oily residue behind.
	•	Non-Irritating: My skin can be a bit sensitive, but I didn’t experience any breakouts or irritation with this cleansing oil. It’s really soothing, and I appreciate that.


•	Sticky Texture: One downside is the slightly sticky texture it leaves behind. It takes a bit longer to absorb, and I found it a bit uncomfortable.
	•	Strong Scent: The scent is quite strong and, unfortunately, not very pleasant. It lingers a bit too long for my taste.
	•	Price: It’s on the pricier side compared to similar products, which makes me hesitant to repurchase.


What I Loved:

	•	Hydration: This toner did wonders for my skin’s hydration. It left my skin feeling really plump and moisturized, which I loved.
	•	Gentle Formula: It’s incredibly gentle and didn’t irritate my sensitive skin at all. That’s a big plus for me.
	•	Brightening Effect: I noticed a nice improvement in my skin tone and radiance after using it for a while.

What I Didn’t Like:

	•	Dryness: My skin felt a little dry after using it for a while, especially around my mouth and nose. I had to step up my moisturizer game to balance it out.
	•	Slow Results: While I did see some improvement, it took a bit longer than expected. You really need to be patient with this serum to see the full effects.
	•	Not for Sensitive Skin: If you have sensitive skin like me, you might experience some irritation, especially when using it daily. I had to cut back to using it every other day to avoid redness.


What I Liked:

	•	Effective Anti-Aging: I started noticing smoother skin and fewer fine lines after a few weeks of using it. The retinol really works its magic when it comes to anti-aging.
	•	Affordable: Compared to other retinol serums, this one is super affordable. You get a lot of bang for your buck, which is great if you’re on a budget.
	•	Lightweight: The serum has a nice, lightweight texture. It absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue, which I appreciate since I layer other products on top.

	•	Drying: After a few hours, my lips started to feel a bit dry, which wasn’t the most comfortable. If you already have dry lips, you’ll definitely need a lip balm underneath.
	•	Patchiness: I noticed that after a while, the lipstick can get a little patchy, especially in the lines of my lips. It’s not too bad, but it’s something I noticed after wearing it for a longer period.


What I Loved:

	•	Color Payoff: The color is stunning! It’s vibrant and deep, and it suits my skin tone perfectly. I love how flattering it is, and I think it would look great on a variety of skin tones.
	•	Longevity: This lipstick really lasts. I don’t have to constantly reapply it throughout the day, which is a huge plus for me. It holds up well even after eating and drinking.
	•	Texture: It has a nice, creamy texture that feels comfortable on the lips. It doesn’t tug when applying, and it’s fairly moisturizing when I first put it on.


While I do love a lot about this product, there are a few things I noticed that might not work for everyone. If you have super dry skin, you might find that the sun stick can cling to dry patches, so I recommend pairing it with a good moisturizer beforehand.

Another thing is, while it’s great for reapplication, I find that if I’m wearing makeup, reapplying over a full face can sometimes disturb the makeup a little, especially around areas like the nose or chin.

Lastly, although the size is convenient for carrying, I feel like it runs out pretty quickly, especially if you’re using it daily and applying a generous amount. So, you might need to repurchase more frequently than with a traditional sunscreen.



Good:
I’ve been using the Beauty of Joseon Sun Stick for a while now, and I have to say, it’s been a game-changer, especially for my daily skincare routine. First off, I love how easy it is to apply. The stick format makes it super convenient, especially when I’m on the go or need to reapply quickly. No mess, no fuss!

The texture is another win. It feels incredibly lightweight on the skin—no greasy residue or sticky feeling, which is something I’ve noticed with other sunsticks. It has a matte finish, so it works well under makeup, keeping my skin looking fresh without making it shiny. Plus, it’s enriched with great ingredients like rice extract and grain ferment, which help nourish my skin while protecting it from UV rays.

Lastly, the compact size makes it perfect for my purse. I love having it with me for quick touch-ups throughout the day, especially during those hot days when you know you should reapply SPF.
