I used to have dry to flaky scalp until my boyfriend reminded me to love my scalp the way I love my facial skin, which made me pick these up from the ordinary: Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density & Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA for Scalp

It wasn’t a quick journey but you have to trust the process. 

I love how it really works to regrow my receding hair line and the fact that it moisturised my scalp! 

Your scalp looks super oily after application so you might have to schedule your days to work around this. 

I usually just apply this every other day, especially when I have dry scalp (im using Simple’s kind-to-hair shampoo which is less sensitizing but I boulder so the hand powder does affect my scalp at times)

This is only suitable to be applied on your scalp for days when you’re staying in, unless if you don’t mind the greasiness. 

One way to make it look less greasy is to apply some mineral powder the next morning before you leave for work/ school

I have more than 50 empty bottles of skincare products but I'm unsure of how I should deal with them? I'll really appreciate if anyone would tell me which brands have recycle programmes and how their campaigns are like!

How does everyone deal with empty bottles

Hi guys I know it's something that we are all very insecure about and Ive just realised I gained a few marks from the fats I gained during lockdown so I was wondering if anyone has any remedy for that😭

I'm often very insecure of my own scars or marks especially when I can't even wear shorts anymore with the stretch marks I have now😢

If you do know of any product or remedy for stretch marks please let me know(I've personally tried glycolic acids and bio-oil but they don't seem to be working for me☹️)

I'm in love with this product that I got at such an affordable price but is such a holy grail to my skin

I'm writing this in comparison to the TO niacinamide+zinc 10% which I believe is what inspired this product 
- this has a slightly less foamy texture when rubbed on palm 
- doesn't have the rubber smell that TO has 
- doesn't have product build-up around the corners of the cap
- works the same, if not better than the TO version and doesn't irritate my skin at all (the TO n+z didn't irritate my skin as well but my skin needed time to adjust and there was a slight purge)
- does "minimise" the appearance of pores because it effectively regulates the sebum production on my skin
- helped calm down my nodular acne on my chin which has been there since three weeks ago (calmed it in just a week)
- cheaper than TO(RM40-70 on shopee) and you don't really have to worry about its authenticity especially if you're in Malaysia where there's no official distributor of TO - ruruberry is only available online as to my knowledge but even at RM29(as of 21/10/2021 on official shopee retail store)

I find no fault in this product just yet because I've only been using it today and I was just so excited about it I had to share about my experience!

Omg I did not expect the first impression of the product to be THIS GOOD!!!!!
I'd just been gifted with a set of three products from isntree review bus in Malaysia and I've found this brand to be my second most undercelebrated brand! 
Fragrance free and lightweight, the product really did plump my skin at just the first application and I cannot tell you enough how hydrating it feels!

Texture: slightly viscous but lightweight, and has a bit of a brownish tint 
Fragrance : absolutely none
Dispense: very easy to control with the texture of the product
Price: Affordable and accessible on shopee Malaysia
Effect: will be updated in a month's time❤️


I don&#39;t have anything bad to say about it just yet (if you&#39;re looking to compare with other brands I&#39;d say this is better than somebymi and iunik snail serums because they have slightly stronger scent)

Here&#39;s what I noticed after using this essence for a week now
- comes with a pump head so the content stays hygienic 🙌🏻
- very lightweight and absorbs well into skin
- doesn&#39;t pile up with other serums
- sensitive skin friendly
- very cheap considering you get 100ml essence with what you pay (it&#39;s RM 56 where I got this- quite a deal)
- it&#39;s ingredients list is eczema safe

The only thing that makes me feel really uneasy is the fragrance still. I can hardly stand any fragrance in my routine (possibly because I have a very sensitive nose) while the herbal scent in this toner may linger for a few minutes even after I layer another product on top of it. (The licorice scent resembles the Hacks candy which you can find in all Malaysian convenient stores)  I'm not sure if this is an intended fragrance or it could just be the scent that came with licorice.  That said, for one who enjoys herbal scented toners, this might be for you!

What is Licorice? Licorice is claimed to have a soothing effect on skin and helps to ease inflammation. The glycyrrhizin found in licorice can reduce redness, irritation and swelling, and is used to treat skin conditions like atopic dermatitis and eczema.

Texture: lightweight and fast-absorbing
Fragrance: lingers for awhile 
Experience: you may notice that my skin texture  has gotten smoother and less irritated throughout the period when I tested the product on my skin. Major kudos to this product because I hadn't changed any part of my skincare routine from the day I decided to give it a go with the toner. 

The PR package also included a sample for the serum of the series! I'll update on the serum later because I'm still travelling around so let's see if it'll help further with my skin texture!

The ampoule, although super hydrating and calming, can be too runny so I had to always squeeze some back into the pack before I pamper my skin with it. Now you may be wondering what I do with the excess: I soak some facial towels (or cotton pads) with it for my neck/ feet and hands or mix them with my body lotion (doesn't feel tacky nor does it feel heavy)

Tell me this is not the most comforting mask ever ←(*꒪ヮ꒪*) I have not personally seen any significant improvements on my skin other than hydration but sheet masks are just a very pampering entity in skincare routines ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ

The texture of the mask sheet is interesting- thick but silky if that makes sense- but it holds on to my skin for good 20 minutes (unfortunately, I lost the photo of it due to malfunctioning storage settings :(((( 

Would I repurchase? 
Definitely! But I think with the BY ECOM PURE CALMING AMPOULE, this is not the most necessary because the ampoule does the same as the mask in a more environmentally friendly way (sheet masks can be a burden to the environment so I've been trying to play my part in reducing the burden for mother planet!)

I gifted some of my masks to friends and they love them too!
