After microneedling, my skin is sensitive and dry. My holy grail item to calm the skin is probably Klairs Blue Midnight Calming Cream. It contains Centella Asiatica, Peptides and Ceramides - great after a treatment!

The product is easy to distribute on the face. It melts down easily on your skin. You can feel the cooling effect immediately and that the cream locks in moisture.

Around 31$ for 60 ml. It’s worth the money since it’s so thick. 

💭 My thoughts
This is my go to moisturizer. Whenever I work from home, exfoliate or feel slightly dry or irritated, I slam this on my face. It’s slightly thick, so I don’t really enjoy using it under makeup, but I love to use it in every other situation. It’s soothing, hydrating and repairing, so it feels good to put it on whenever possible on my dehydrated skin. I’m already on my second package and it’s only been 1,5 month.

Too much product can make you oily and “Fundamental Watery Oil Drop” is misleading since the product does not contain any oil.

It feels slightly thicker than water, but very much like an oil once you start moving the product around.

The product is hard to distribute on the face (just like an oil), therefore i apply 3 drops into my palms and then pat the product into the skin.

💸 Price
Around 35$ for 50 ml. I feel like this is a good price for the great formulation, ingredients and big package. 

💭 My thoughts
First of all, the name can be misleading - this is a serum and NOT an oil. I feel like all Klairs products are packed with such good ingredients and the formulations are just incredible - this serum is not an exception. The formula is much more plumping than hydrating, it sinks right into the skin and leaves no product on top of the surface (no stickiness). It took me a while to get used to this ”oily” formula, it felt like I didn’t use enough product, but 2-3 drops is all you need (use a toner right before the serum if you are in need of more hydration). The result is a healthy plumped skin, a perfect everyday serum. Works great for oily skin!

❗️ Concerns
The packaging is questionable. It’s a beautiful jar, but since the product is so runny, it has a tendency to leak out from the inner lid. This means waste of product and a sticky package.

The cream is definitely watery and runny,  slightly more runny than condensed milk. I wouldn’t say it’s sticky on the skin, but you can feel it when you touch your face.

The product is easy to distribute on the face. I use one whole spatula (which is included) and spread all over my face in circular motions.  

💸 Price
Around 30$ for 70 ml. This product feels more expensive than it is, I love it.

💭 My thoughts
Since I’m on the oilier side, I feel like you have to pick between a matte gel-type moisturizer with lack of nourishment or a heavy cream which after a few hours makes you look like you ran a marathon. But hey, since oily people want to have healthy looking dewy skin too - this is the one. This moisturizer plumps and hydrates your skin in seconds and the result is very dewy, but not oily. The ingredients are soothing, my sensitive skin never had any issues with this one. Lovely!
