💭 My thoughts 
- As its name suggests, this hybrid sunscreen has a milky, essence-like texture which is incredibly easy to apply
- Spreads and absorbs effortlessly as shown in the video. Great for when in a rush 🕐
- It does not feel greasy or sticky, no pilling and does not leave a white cast as claimed 🥰 
- Has a soft floral soap fragrance which I actually enjoy 🌼
- Application is effortless and once set, leaves a healthy, dewy finish ✨ 
- Despite the glowy look, this sunscreen has quite decent oil-control for a moisturising spf, (probably from the silica content) as it didn't make my face oily until 2-3 hours later when tested indoors
- Although I can't say the same for hot outdoor settings 🥵 Definitely needs to be touched up with powder. Oily skin types can skip moisturiser
- Looks good under makeup as it gives a healthy glow. Tested it underneath powder foundation and light makeup and it held well. Not sure how it fares with full face heavy makeup
- And most importantly, it does not sting my eyes! 🥳🙌
- I've been reaching out for this sunscreen a lot lately and I think that says a lot 🤭 Would recommend to those who likes a lightweight but moisturising sunscreen 💗
- I actually like this one more than the cult favourite Biore UV Aqua Rich Essence 😆

As always, what works for me may not work for you. Product was gifted but thoughts are my own honest opinion.

You've probably heard of the popular Skintific Mugwort Clay Mask that comes in the jar packaging, or even tried it yourself like I did (love it btw, I've reviewed it previously) 

But did you know that they came out with a stick version of this clay mask? It's the Skintific Mugwort Anti Pores & Acne Clay Stick which I'll be reviewing today 📝 

It's my first time trying a mask in stick form and I think it's a really cool concept. The highlight would definitely be the convenience and ease-of-use 🧳 

🔑 Key ingredients 
• Kaolin clay
• Mugwort
• Ceramides
• Niacinamide
• Salicylic acid 
• Centella

Normal price is RM 53 but can go much lower as they usually have good deals on their online official stores 

💭 My thoughts 
• Travel-friendly size with sturdy twist-up packaging and double protective cap ✅ 
• Fragrance-free but has a noticeable floral-herbal scent
• It has a really soft, creamy texture that is SO easy to glide/swipe on the skin which really surprised me. It's just so effortless! 🤌
• Because of this easy and mess-free application, it can cover the whole face area quickly
• Similar to its predecessor in a jar, this clay stick doesn't feel drying and remains soft on the skin without hardening up 
• Another plus point is that it rinses off very easily 👍🏼
• My skin feels soft, smooth and pores look more refined after use. It also helps to calm and reduce the size of some active acne 🌋 
• The convenient stick form coupled with a smooth application makes it such an enjoyable masking experience and quickens the process too! So no more excuses to not mask regularly for lazy people like me 🤪
• I highly recommend trying this out if you have oily skin, acne or easily clogged pores. And if you've tried the jar version, then you'll definitely enjoy this stick one even more! 

Have you tried mask sticks? 

There's personally nothing bad about it to me, but I would advise those with sensitive skin to be cautious as it does contain 50 fermented ingredients which can trigger a reaction if you're sensitive to ferments. And while it doesn't contain fragrance, it does have geranium essential oil, geraniol and citronellol which again could cause a reaction to those allergic/sensitive to essential oils

💭 My experience 
I love how hydrating this essence toner is! It has a medium thick consistency, yet still runny and feels lightweight. I like doing 2-3 layers. My oily-dehydrated skin just drinks it up! It doesn't feel sticky or tacky even after multiple layers. My skin does indeed look noticeably glowing with daily usage, eventhough it's only been just over a week of incorporating it in my routine. I will definitely continue using it as my skin loves fermented ingredients and this works amazing so far! It has a strong floral-citrusy scent, which reminds me a lot of the rose syrup cordial we use to make air sirap rose 🤣🌹 My mom can smell this from across the room whenever I use this in my routine 😂 That's how strong the scent is, which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your skin and/or nose. Overall, I would say that this essence-toner hybrid is a must try for those who enjoy using fermented skincare, don't have sensitive skin and looking for something to add hydration and extra glow to your skin. 

Like most pump packagings, sometimes the pump doesn't dispense the product out or it's not enough so you have to press a few times till it comes out. Not much of a problem but worth mentioning. Oh and as mentioned above, it does sting the skin a bit sometimes 

Sharing my thoughts on the popular @skin1004official Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF 50+ PA++++ 💦

💭 My thoughts 
- Firstly, love the smart pump packaging and its slim tube 👏
- The texture of this sunscreen makes it such a breeze to apply! True to its name, it has a runny serum-like texture that spreads and sinks instantly into the skin 
- Application is so effortless! Little to no blending required and zero white cast! (on my skin tone) 🤌
- No fragrance or essential oil and pretty much scentless to me
- I did not experience any pilling issues 
- It leaves a natural to moderate dewy finish once set. It's not too glowy so it's still wearable even on oily skin types
- I've tried this with and without moisturizer and both ways work fine on me
- Fortunately, this sunscreen did not sting my eyes, however I did feel some slight stinging sensation on my skin in the first few uses. Thankfully, it doesn't tingle as much once I used it more often 🙌
- Overall, I definitely enjoyed using this chemical sunscreen. It feels hydrating yet lightweight and it's so easy to apply. The natural dewy finish is comfortable enough for oily skin even in hot and humid weather. It's a sunscreen that I feel would suit most, if not all skin types well 👌💯

💭 My thoughts 
• This is a hybrid sunscreen. It contains a combination of 1 physical and 4 chemical UV filters 👍🏼 
• It has a light gel-like texture that blends and absorbs easily into the skin
• It has a mild citrus scent 🍊
• True to its claim, it doesn't leave a white cast on my skin 👏
• It also doesn't feel sticky and doesn't cause pilling 
• Most importantly, it doesn't sting my eyes or my skin, which I really appreciate 💯🎉
• The finish is definitely dewy on my oily skin, especially when worn with moisturizer underneath. Skipping moisturizer reduces the dewyness, leaving a more natural, satin finish 👍🏼
• Final thoughts, this pretty much ticks all the boxes in what I look for in a daily sunscreen 👏 I enjoyed using it and would totally recommend giving this beautifully formulated sunscreen a try
