I paused the use of Vitamin C due to what appears to be surface oxidation, resulting in skin darkening rather than the anticipated brightening effect. Has anyone experienced this? Given the scientific backing behind Vitamin C's effects, I'm hesitant to abandon it altogether and still considers reusing it. Despite following various online tips to prevent this (which obviously didn't work for me), has anyone found an effective workaround that addresses this issue?

I've been using the I'm From Licorice Calming Cream for about a week, and here's what I think so far.

I've got dry skin, and this cream is pretty nice for that. It's not heavy or oily, which is great because heavy stuff can make dry skin feel worse. It soaks into my skin easily, making it feel less dry without leaving any greasy stuff behind. That's a big deal for dry skin like mine.

One good thing is that it doesn't have any strong smells. That's good for people like me who don't like strong scents or have sensitive skin. I haven't had any problems with redness or irritation, which is nice.

I can't say for sure if it helps with dark spots yet because I've only been using it for a short time. But for now, I'm happy with how it makes my dry skin feel – not heavy, not greasy, and no weird smells. I'm going to keep using it to see if it helps with dark spots over time.

For years, I used scrubs to exfoliate my facial skin.  I found out that it is not good because it can cause abrasion on the outer layer of our skin.  I've heard about chemical exfoliants but I'm scared that using them on my face might cause adverse reaction. I'm also a bit hesitant to use this serum that was sent to me because I'm not really familiar with PHA.  But as compared to what I hear about exfoliants such as AHA and BHA, PHA is much more gentle on the skin.  To be sure, I did the required patch test to see that nothing bad would happen to my skin. 

I didn't see any redness after doing the patch test so I immediately tried it on my face as well.  Since exfoliants can make the skin more sensitive to sunlight, I only use this serum at night. I apply essence and moisturizer after using the serum to make sure my skin doesn't dry out.

I've only used it twice but I noticed that my skin doesn't look dull and tired in the morning.  That's all I can share for now and hopefully the result of using it will be seen in a few weeks of application.  Since it is gentler on the skin, it can be used 2 to 3 times per week.  Let's just not forget our sunscreens when using exfoliants.

I have already used several other brands of rice toners and I can say that this is one of my favorites. I think they have got the typical formula of Kbrands and this is actually a good brand for beginners to skin care routine. 

When I received it from Picky and Goodal, I immediately tried to use it with the seven skins method. For those who are not familiar with this method, it is the application of seven layers of toners after you wash your face and before you apply serum or moisturizer. 

I noticed that even though I applied seven layers of this toner on my face, I did not notice any adverse reaction like skin redness or hives. Its serum like consistency would give you an impression that this would be heavy or sticky on the skin, but surprisingly it has a very light texture and can absorbed by the skin quickly.

Another thing I liked is that this is fragrance free so I can recommend this to those with sensitive skin. Within a week of using the layered application of this toner, I didn't experience any redness or irritation. I used this day and night to really test how effective this is.

I noticed that within a week of using this toner, my skin never felt stretched or dry. With just the first application, your face will feel plumped. My skin stays moisturized and hydrated all day. This product is highly recommended for all skin types!

This South Korean brand night cream is a great choice for all skin types, including sensitive skin. It utilizes a combination of retinal and bakuchiol to combat fine lines and wrinkles, and is both vegan and cruelty-free. The airless pump packaging is not only cute, but also helps to preserve the product's shelf life, reducing waste and saving money.

I use this cream at night, and although it may initially stain the skin, this typically disappears by morning. As someone who has built up a tolerance to such products, I did not experience any stinging or redness after use. The cream itself has a thick and creamy texture, but does not leave a sticky residue and provides great hydration.

While I have only used it for almost two weeks and have yet to see any significant changes in my skin, I believe that it is a great preventive measure against visible aging, especially since I am only 33 years old and do not have many fine lines.

I have been a user of Dear Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream SPF 40 PA++ since 2017.  I don't really know how to do make up so having a foundation-like product with light to medium coverage is a huge help. A pea sized amount is all you need to get the dewy finish you're looking for. This cream is hydrating and has added sun protection. It blends well into the skin so it looks natural. Its texture and consistency is light. If your skin is light or fair, this is suitable for you.
