One of my favourite toners! Love the tea tree scent and how it helps to calm my breakouts.

LANEIGE Multi-Deep Clean Cleanser
One of the rare Laneige products which my skin actually likes. Doesn’t make my skin feel dry but the scent is a little bit too strong.

FRESH Rose Face Mask
No words needed for this famous mask. It’s well loved for a reason 🥰 🌹 

AXIS-Y New Skin Resolution Gel Mask
Had a hard time finishing this tub as it didn’t really do much for my skin. 

MARIO BADESCU Hyaluronic Dew Drops
Can’t really say much as I only had a tiny sample. I felt that it wasn’t hydrating enough.

💙 February Empties 💙

So excited to finally receive the Skin1004 serum. 
I’ve been applying it twice a day for about 3 days now and I feel that my skin has become uncomfortably tight. How frequent do you all apply it? Did anyone else encounter the same issue?

How should I use this new serum?

Time really flies! It’s already August!!

Everytime I finish a product I feel so happy because that means I can open a new one to try 🤣 Still trying to find my HG moisturiser and serum. 

Quick review of all the products I finished.

Things I would repurchase:
⭐️BOJ Ginseng + Snail Mucin serum as it helped with the fine lines on my forehead. It was less visible. 

⭐️ TO’s Caffeine Solution as it really helped with eye puffiness! Especially when you first wake up in the morning. When I ran out of it, I could definitely feel the difference. 

⭐️ Cosrx Hydrium Toner as it is a really good one. Keeps my skin hydrated enough and it is affordable.

⭐️ Dr Jart’s Tea Tree Cleansing Foam as I love the scent 🤣 It’s a good cleanser and I use with when I have breakouts. Skin doesn’t feel dry after washing. I really love this range from Dr Jart and already repurchased it. It’s not as pricey as the other items from this brand. If you’re a tee tree lover like me, you will definitely enjoy this! 


Things I wouldn’t repurchase
❌ Nivea Micellar Water
It gave me breakouts for some weird reason.

❌ Cosrx Propolis Toner
Very basic toner to me and it didn’t do much. Not hydrating enough.

❌ Mizon Collagen Eye Cream
Didn’t see any difference.

❌ Always Be Pure Toner
So so toner. It’s a bit sticky to me so didn’t like it.


Can’t wait to try out the new stuff I got! Especially the centella ampoule which I won from the giveaway. Read so many good reviews about it.

I know about PAO but what about products without an expiry date? I have products from Fresh and Ole Henrikson. Both do not have an expiry date, only the PAO. I usually keep track of all the expiry dates for my skincare products but most western brands don’t have one. How do you know when it will expire? Generally one year after buying it / manufacturing date?

One reason why I love using K-beauty products is because they have the expiry dates. Easy to keep track 😬

Generally speaking, most UNOPENED products have a lifespan of up to 3 years unless mentioned otherwise. Been looking online for expiry dates using batch codes from the websites below. Not all brands can be found but common ones are available. I’ve also attached a table on general product shelf lifes before and after PAO for easy reference. I can’t remember where I saved it from so if it happens to be yours, let me know ☺️

For Tata Harper products, it’s so awesome that you can search the manufacturing date from their website itself! Plus, they’ll even show you a picture of who packed your product!

From FDA regarding American brands:
There are no U.S. laws or regulations that require cosmetics to have specific shelf lives or have expiration dates on their labels. 

For European brands:
Any cosmetic product that has a lifespan of less than 30 months must show a "Best before the end of" date. For products with a lifespan longer than 30 months, cosmetic products must show a "period after opening" time.

I was using this twice a week but had to scale back as I experienced peeling around my chin and upper lip area. Stopped using after I experienced skin tightness.

After using it twice a week, the fine lines on my forehead were more smoother and my pores were looking more refined. Had to stop using it for awhile as I was experiencing extreme skin dryness till my face felt uncomfortably tight. I even used the sandwich method when using this product. It could be either this or the new cushion that I was trying out. I’m not too sure. I will definitely continue to use this on my forehead and T-zone as I could see results. And I’m sure lots of people would want to know this, I did not experience any purging 😊

Give it a try tonight and wake up to healthier, firmer skin in the morning!

Key Ingredients - Superberry Complex (49.02% Blueberry & Raspberry Extracts), Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Glycerin, Trehalose, Panthenol, Allantoin

This is an exfoliating toner that is gentle, moisturising, and rich in anti-oxidants. It is a fragrance-free toner with a water-like consistency. It has a very faint chemical scent that dissipates quickly. The toner is easily absorbed and leaves no sticky or tacky feeling. After using it once a day on every alternate day for 2 weeks, my skin feels much softer. I did not experience any irritation or purging which I tend to get when using products with Vit C. It could be due to the super berry complex which helped to reduce irritation while promoting cell turnover. The moisturising and soothing ingredients in the toner also helped to prevent my skin from feeling dry. 

I really love the green glass bottle as it gives it a luxurious feel. It is priced at USD20 (~RM83) which is alright for 150mL and is exclusively available on Wishtrend.

Verdict:
So far, I really enjoyed using this toner as my skin felt softer and was non-drying! I have not used it long enough to see its brightening effect. Surprisingly, this toner did not irritate or sting my skin eventhough I damaged my skin barrier a while ago. It is safe to say that this toner is very gentle, probably gentle enough for daily use if your skin can tolerate it. Will definitely try to use it more frequently.

Remember to always test patch and start slow when using exfoliating products 😊

While the name of this patch is Cica X Care, it doesn't contain any cica. It's just a regular hydrocolloid patch.

This pimple patch is very thin and almost invisible on my skin! It is sold in a pack of 48 patches - 18 pieces in 10mm and 30 pieces in 12mm - for RM13.50, which is cheap. I love using pimple patches as they absorb all the pus and oil from the popped pimple while protecting the wound. It also helps to prevent scarring and speeds up the healing. The pimple will flatten and look less angry!

- Feels a bit too dry for me so need to apply a hydrating serum or moisturiser under it
- Stings the eye
- Experienced slight reaction to it. Saw bumps on my forehead.

I’m still testing this sunscreen on and off because it gave me bumps. I find this sunscreen too dry for my skin and after I wash it off, my skin looks dull. Not sure why. Will not be repurchasing it as it doesn’t suit my skin. Very sad as it was highly rated by many users.

Main Functions = Sun protection, Anti inflammatory, Soothing, Moisturising, Anti Oxidant

+ Scentless! 
+ Elegantly formulated physical sunscreen which leaves a minimal white cast
+ Thin nozzle very handy to control how much product comes out
+ Sits on skin comfortably, dries matte and can keep skin shine free for hours! Great for oily skin!
+ Doesn’t pill under makeup

Don’t really have any cons about this product. It’s great!

Love the scent of tea tree oil! Great and affordable cleanser from Dr Jart. Doesn’t make my face feel tight after washing.

Edit: So good till I bought a full sized bottle! Previously was using 3 sample sized ones I got from Korea.
