Foaming Cleanser Recommendations???

Heyy guys!! I’m from Australia and it’s summer here now so the heat and dryness is really doing my usual skincare routine no good. I don’t sweat that easily on my face but my skincare seems to be sitting on top and feeling heavy nowadays :(

Any recommendations what I can use as part of my summer routine? Really want something lightweight! I’m currently using the Cereve moisturiser and Haru Haru Black Rice Toner which is hydrating, with Isntree hyaluronic essence and Vitamin C serum… but now I’m not sure if that would be good for my skin this summer.

Can we all just take a moment and appreciate how simple yet aesthetically pleasing the packaging is? 👀 I leave it on the kitchen sink because I've since convinced my whole family to use it, and they love it so much!! 😂

This hand wash has a light, transparent gel consistency to it. It lathers up nicely and rinses off very well without leaving a drying sensation unlike other hand wash products I've previously used. It contains plant-derived ingredients and natural scrubs made of sweet almond shell powder for mild exfoliation, leaving my hands feeling softer and smoother after washing. I feel like this product is suitable for all skin types because it is very gentle and unscented but would not recommend daily, frequent use because the granules might be slightly abrasive for the skin over time.

HOLY GRAIL ALERT! 🚨 I am in love with this cream!! 😍😍 This product has a light, creamy texture that absorbs relatively quickly without leaving any stickiness, just as it claims. I don't usually use hand creams because I find the greasy residue annoying, especially when I go to use my phone afterwards and it leaves fingerprints but this was a game changer for me. 👏🏼 Working in healthcare has caused my hands to become extremely dry and rough, especially with the constant hand washing and use of alcohol-based sanitizers before and after every single patient. This cream is extremely nourishing, moisturising and lightweight. I definitely would say a little goes a long way because one pump is more than enough for my hands. Would definitely repurchase this!! ✨

Overall, I really enjoyed using this duo and the hand cream is definitely my favourite out of the two! 💕 The retail price is $35 AUD, so it is on the pricier end but highly recommend if you want soft hands!! 🤭

Personally, I don’t find anything bad about this product.

Gonna have to start off by saying how Felicia from BeautyWithin recommended this toner in her videos and after so much hype, I finally caved in! But let me reassure you, the hype was definitely worth it and I’m so in LOVE with this toner!! 

The main ingredients are fermented black rice extract and hyaluronic acid so it’s very hydrating, leaving my skin feeling plump and soft. I’ve used it for the past 2 months and my skin feels so much nicer. It has a watery consistency yet the texture is viscous so it glides across the skin easily. It did feel a little tacky at first but this disappears once the toner settles into the skin. It’s rapid absorption, that’s for sure. I usually only put on 1-2 layers, but on days my skin is calling out to me for some extra hydration… 2-3 layers is fine too!! Apparently there’s a slightly strong lavender scent to it (as it contains lavender oil), but I didn’t notice it that much. If anything… the scent is actually aromatic for me. The toner does contain alcohol and essential oil but it didn’t irritate my skin, which is a big pro!! 

Overall, I highly recommend this product if you’re looking for a super hydrating, nourishing toner and don’t mind the slight lavender scent that comes with it. I thought it was just a herbal scent at first. PAO is 6 months though which makes me sad because I bought the 300ml bottle and it’s massive… I’m not even half way through yet. Would definitely repurchase in the future though!!

Side note, I’m in awe with the packaging. The box is printed using soy ink and the bottle has a frosted matte plastic finish. The way the lid screws on is oddly satisfying.

I haven’t experienced anything negative about this product.

I’ve heard so many good things about this essence and how a lot of people found it to help improve damaged skin and restore skin elasticity. So far from my experience, the hype is real! 

The texture is very viscous but super lightweight and absorbs pretty fast into the skin. It does feel slightly tacky when you first apply it but this goes away once you let the product settle. When I first used this, I didn’t feel like I needed it that much but after noticing what it did to my skin, I found myself reaching for this more and more. It’s literally a staple within my skincare routine now so definitely give it a bit of time!

Within a few weeks of using this, my skin literally glows!! ✨ It is a very hydrating essence and I definitely notice the difference in my skin complexion. It gives off the glass skin vibes, leaving my skin feeling so smooth and plump all day with a dewy finish. I haven’t noticed too much difference in my hyperpigmentation and if it has faded but then again, going to have to give it some time! It didn’t cause me any irritation whatsoever and surprising, there was no smell to it either. I realised a little goes a long way with just one pump so the bottle is definitely going to last me a while. 

Would I repurchase?? YESSS!! 🤩 Definitely a HG for me! Would highly recommend!! 

Also, the packaging. Can I just say, I love the pump mechanism because it’s super convenient and that the bottle is plastic with a matte opaque finish, which I find oddly satisfying to hold.
