Nothing bad about this product, really. I would say since this product is supposed to work for all skin types, my skin doesn’t feel as hydrated as my usual Cerave cleanser. However, it does the job at keeping the skin clean and getting rid of dirt and oil. This is so affordable (less than $18) and long-lasting, so give it a try!

This product was a pleasant surprise! It comes out as a clear, unscented, jelly-like liquid that has a little slip like the Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleanser that is my holy grail. The product becomes creamy when in contact with water (it doesn’t foam up or get sudsy so it doesn’t dry out moisture completely). It is also very wasy to wash off and made my skin feel nice and smooth. I have not broken out from it so far.

In terms of packaging, it is so nice and simple for beginners to understand. The back provides descriptions of each ingredients’ functions. This is a great product for newcomers and addicts. This cleanser keeps things simple and clean, which is what skincare should be.

I couldn’t pinpoint this until after seeing other’s reviews who also had dry skin, but this formula can be heavy on the pores and break you out. So, I would recommend this for winter months and for light application, just make sure to double cleanse afterwards.

🖤 Sturdy packaging and easy to twist open.
🖤 Sunscreen is a milky formula, so it is lightweight and slightly watery in consistency. This made it easy to spread into my light/medium-tint skin without any white cast.
🖤 There’s a slight summery sunscreen scent that fakes away as it dries.
🖤 As someone with dry skin, I like how this formula leaves my skin looking super dewy like glass skin or porcelain skin.

Cons:
🌈 The price is quite expensive ($40 for 30mL)
🌈 Some people might want a longer packaging opening time span. You have to use this within 6 months of opening, but this is expected for Vitamin C serums.

Pros:
🌈The packaging itself so nice and sturdy. I like that the pump helps slow the process of the vitamin c degrading so that it continues to work well.
🌈 There is a very slight citrus scent, which js expected since there is lemon, mandarin orange, and grapefruit extracts.
🌈 The serum is a thicker consistency like a slightly runny gel formula because of ingredients like xanthan gum. Its also a clear formula, so it blends very well into the skin.
🌈 I love how after drying that I’m not left with any oily or stick feeling. It reminds me of hyaluronic acid serums where it feels slightly tacky after application, but dries into a seamless finish.
🌈 Ive been seeing a great improvement in my blemishes and skin texture since using this product. My pesky blemishes have been getting lighter (due to niacinimide and beta-glucan) and smoother (due to niacinimide, glycerin, and panthenol).
🌈 I’ve had no irritiation or breakouts from using this product.
🌈 If you want products for redness, this is also great because of the centella asiatica in it!

🥚 No cons for me. I love how the brand emphasized hygiene because the process was not messy at all. My skin feels and looks great!

Pros:
🥚 In terms of packaging, it was great and very hygienic! The box comes with 8 masks (8 activators, 8 8 packs in small bowls) that you can make so that the process is easy. Love how they provide a wrapped facial brush since I’ve been wanting one for a while.

🥚 The process was easy. Open, mix, brush, and wait. The zombie pack powder turned into a yellow, grainy, and watery mixture (similar to an egg wash for pastries). 

🥚 The light smell was therapeutic and floral since it contains lavender oil, centella asiatica, and multiple flower extracts. 

🥚 My skin felt cool upon application and was not irritated. Painting the facial on felt like being a pastry because of the egg wash haha. The waiting experience was fun since I later turned into a shedding, wrinkly zombie. 

🥚 The mask was surprisingly easy to wash off (1-2 minutes) and left my skin feeling hydrated, tighter, and glowy thanks to ingredients like panthenol, honey, niacinimide, and glycerin. 

The light coverage can be a drawback for some people, so do not expect this to cover up blemishes.  I suggest using this and then doing a spot coverage with your regular foundation or concealer.

The floral scent can also be a con for some but it is very light.

The product is moisturizing and has SPF which is great! A little bit of moisturizer goes a long way, so one pump of it can be perfect for no makeup look. There is a light white jasmine smell that wears off after some time, making it not irritant to my skin. 

The texture of the product is creamy and moisturizing. It feels like a liquid foundation but it isn’t (no one would know). The packaging itself is sturdy, heavy, and cute ... like a luxurious item. The metal is a rose gold brass finish and it is surrounded by a silicone light pink cover.

The light to medium coverage makes it a great stand alone foundation or as a primer before putting foundation or concealer on top.
