toner pads are everyone’s latest obsession in the k-beauty world. toner pads are basically a cross over between sheet masks and toners/serums. I have not tried them myself bc i find them to be less convenient than just regular toners. recently i saw a positive review on a toner pad that isn’t as popular but is said to fade acne marks and skin texture. it’s the numbuzin No.5 niacinamide concentrated toner pad. i’ve tried the ordinary niacinamide serum before and it didn’t do much for my skin but this toner pad is supposed more concentrated so im excited to try it.

let’s talk toner pads🫧

as someone with combo skin i’ve always struggled to find the perfect moisturizer. my skin leans more towards the oily side but using -only-products formulated for oily skin irritates my cheeks and my face will appear red and inflamed as my cheeks are less oily and resilient than my T-zone. 
on my search for a suitable moisturizer, i came across the “axis y cera heart my type duo cream” it has a really ingenious design that I’ve never seen before and i liked the concept so I’m incorporating this idea into my routine: the iunik centella gel cream for my T-zone bc it keeps me hydrated and it isn’t excessively oily. illiyoon ceramide cream for my cheeks bc it hydrates my skin and repairs the damages barrier. (i posted detailed review on both of these products)

moisturizer for combo skin

flower knows is a super popular c-beauty brand that is best known for their dreamy, gorgeous, fairytale inspired packaging designs. they carry a variety of makeup products and accessories (now they sell perfumes as well). I can’t lie the packaging is absolutely stunning for the price point and i’m soooo tempted to purchase literally everything but i rarely see ppl talk about the quality of the makeup. is it worth the hype? most importantly i don’t see ppl w darker/deeper skin tones reviewing their products since typically c-beauty products aren’t as pigmented I’m hesitant about purchasing them.

- it’s hard to remove you need oil-based cleansers and if you’re not being gentle u may lose ur eyelashes😬
-its supposed to give u the viral manga lashes look but it’s nothing too crazy and definitely not the same as fake lashes. it’s more natural.

guys I wore this to my graduation ceremony and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. it’s no surprise that this mascara is one of etudes most viral products.i literally cried my eyes out and it didn’t even move. I know a lot of ppl dislike waterproof mascara because it feels sticky but if you’re like me and ur eyes water a lot give this one a try because it doesn’t feel as waxy/sticky as other waterproof mascaras. it’s super long-lasting I had this on overnight (u shouldn’t do this btw😬) next morning it looked almost as good as it was before and once it’s fully dry it becomes smudge-proof. the skinny wand with short bristles give u naturally tinted and curled lashes. great for everyday use and the packaging is super cute.

the only thing I don't like about it is that it makes my skin bumpy and also sometimes it irritates my skin and stings my eyes.
I think you should give it a try bc it might work for you.

it's really hard to find a sun screen that doesn't feel heavy and doesn't leave a white cast and when I first got this I really liked it since its very light, kinda watery, easy to blend, feels hydrating and it has a dewy finish. 

hmm maybe there are better options out there that remove makeup quicker. you really have to work it into ur skin and massage it thoroughly to get everything off.

I started using this cleanser almost 8 months ago and I've used almost half of the bottle since then so here's my honest review: it's a super affordable oil-based cleanser. you get a generous amount of product for the price. I especially recommend this product to people with combination/acne-prone skin types I use about 1-2 plumps and message it to my face for about two minutes and it removes all the dirt, makeup, suncreen, and built up sebum in my pores without drying my skin. it leaves the skin feeling clean, plump, and hydrated.

-I’m a warm toned w meduim skin tone and like most k-beauty products this shade doesn’t look flattering on warmer/darker skin tones. this is my personal opinion tho.
-unlike typical tinted lip glosses, the glossy effect wears off if u smack ur lips.

-as the name suggests its a watery lip tint with dewy/glossy finish sort of like a tinted lip gloss except it doesn’t feel sticky 
- I LOVE LOVE THE PACKAGING 
-the glossy effect is everything 
-the stain is super long lasting and makes ur lips look naturally tinted as if u just ate cherries 

it smells a bit like tea tree oil but I don't mind it since it gets washed away. it can be drying at times (eg. in winter) so I don’t really recommend this product to people with dry skin types.

I’ve been using this product for over a year now and it is definitely a key product in my skin care routine. it clears up my acne and prevents any breakouts especially on my forehead. its super gentle on the skin and removes any sebum, dirt, sweat, and bacteria from my face without irritating my sensitive skin. due to the the thick gel consistency each bottle lasts me about 6 months even though I use a pea-sized amount 2 times a day to cleanse my face.
