In today’s post I am sharing my review on Rovectin Skin Essentials Activating Treatment Lotion From the word lotion a milky moisturiser comes into mind but this product is nothing like that. It is a lightweight multitasking toner essence which hydrates, soothes and firms the skin in just one step. Coming to the product details- The formula of this product has a hydrating barrier complex to help in boosting the skin’s natural barrier. This activating treatment lotion is free from artificial fragrance, mineral oil, alcohol, essential oils, silicone, parabens and sulphates. It is vegan and cruelty free. Ingredients- Water, glycerin, methyl gluceth-20, pentylene glycol, butylene glycol, niacinamide, sorbitol, adenosine, caffeine, sodium hyaluronate, allantoin, panthenol, arginine, hyaluronic acid, glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) root extract, chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract, centella asiatica extract, glycine soja (soybean) sprout extract, carica papaya (papaya) fruit extract, 1,2-hexanediol, sodium pca, acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, hydroxyethylcellulose, trehalose, sodium polyglutamate, hydroxypropyltrimonium hyaluronate, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, sodium acetylated hyaluronate, potassium hyaluronate, sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer, disodium EDTA. Packaging- It comes in a transparent bottle with a cap. Texture and consistency- The toner essence is clear and has a viscous consistency like a serum. It glides on easily on the skin and absorbs within a minute without leaving any sticky or greasy feel. Directions of usage– Apply a dime size of the product on damp skin after cleansing. Let it absorb for a while and then continue with your serums and moisturisers. My experience with the product- the ingredient list is amazing and it contains seven different types of hyaluronic acid. I use this lotion both morning and evening on my damp skin followed by the serums and moisturiser. The ingredients like hyaluronic acid, glycerine, pentylene glycol and butylene glycol work as great humectants. Niacinamide and licorice root extract helps in brightening up the skin and evens out the skin tone. As I’ve struggled with hyperpigmentation on my skin for a very very long time, having these ingredients in my skincare routine is a big YES! 🙌 Caffeine helps in depuffing the skin which is a very helpful ingredient for me as I easily look like a ball whenever I wake up in the morning 🥺. Allantoin and panthenol soothes and calms irritated skin. Papaya fruit extract helps in mild and gentle exfoliation of the skin. From these points it is clear that this essence lotion is definitely a keeper. A single 100 ml bottle will last for months as only a little amount of product is needed for the whole face and neck. The clean ingredient list makes it suitable for all skin types. As this lotion contains humectants a good emollient cream or moisturiser has to be applied on top to lock in the moisture. The lotion plumps up my skin making it look fresh and hydrated. It also creates a clean canvas and prepares the skin for the next skincare steps. Pros- Contains seven different types of hyaluronic acid. Helps to even out skin tone. Fragrance free. Cruelty free. Vegan. A little product goes a long way. Immediately hydrates and soothes the skin. Travel friendly. Free from sulphates, phthalates, parabens. No artificial color. No mineral oil or essential oil. Cons- None for me. Will I recommend it? Absolutely yes!! For all skin types. I have tried a few drugstore brands such as Aveeno, Cerave, Cetaphil and so on, but although, they were not as drying, they were not as clarifying as I desired, so I continued my search and finally decided to add this face wash to my Korean skin care haul. My Experience with Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser: This facial cleanser’s pH level (acid-base content) is similar to that of our skin and is formulated such that it doesn’t strip it of its natural oils and moisture. Controlled pH level in skin care products is a new fad in skin care industry and important to maintain skin’s moisture content – apparently there are several studies backing this claim.It also contains BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acids) which is a very popular skin exfoliant and is known to remove dead cells and help in skin rejuvenation. The packaging is easy to store (can be kept upright in the cabinet) and is travel friendly, leak proof. Soothing tea tree oil fragrance. Has no artificial color. It has a thick, gel-like consistency and lathers nicely. It removes dirt, makeup and clears out pores. It does not strip skin of its natural skin and moisture. It is sulphate free. Cons of Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser: It does contain alcohol and other chemicals for the sake of preservation and other cosmetic purposes. I wish the ingredient list was shorter with less chemicals in it. Rating: 4.7/5

🍃Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum review🍃

Apparently, this is Innisfree’s Best Selling Product. I have mixed feelings about this product. It’s a semi-thick liquid serum that feels sticky upon application. Though it does dry down to a smooth dewy finish and feels light and comfortable on the skin. It’s super hydrating & nourishing and I wake up with plump, supple skin whenever I use this. ▪️ Hygienic and travel friendly packaging. ▪️ Light on the skin. ▪️ Leaves a natural sheen. ▪️ Non oily and non greasy. ▪️ Hydrates instantly. ▪️ Keeps skin hydrated for long time. ▪️ Makes skin smooth, supple and hydrated. if I used this serum for more than three days continuously, I tend to get tiny bumps and whiteheads. So I had to give it a break in between whilst using this product. I assume it’s because of the fragrance in it since I don’t see any acne-triggering ingredients. The price point may look expensive, but one bottle will easily last 6 months. In terms of results, it’s not a miracle product. I can tell that it’s a nice hydrator that plumps up the skin. But that is all! The overpowering fragrance is a major turn-off for me and I don’t see myself repurchasing this and also it have alcohol in it🤧
