I’ve been on the hunt for a good SPF moisturizer with anti-aging properties, that is also CRUELTY-FREE (Yes, this is a major factor in my cosmetic purchases). 
My search has been pretty unsuccessful, since I’ve found many that lack either one thing or another. 
The only ones I’ve found that check all my list (from e.l.f.) are actually NOT available in Canada (go figure, just my luck 😒🙄).
Anyone has any recommendations?? They are greatly appreciated!! ☺️♥️🙏🏼

SPF Moisturizer Plz!!

Ok, I’m just super hyped that I just got this in the mail from South Korea, and of course the most appropriate place to share would be here!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️ I know many of you have it or have used it before, this is my first time ever trying it. What are your thoughts on it? Do you use it for a specific concern?

Skin1004 Centella Ampoule

On my most recent review, I mentioned that “my skin is -unfortunately- paying the price of seasons changing ☹️😭 As of right now, I am a mix of somewhat sensitive/ reactive and dry. And by dry I mean dry patches around my forehead and cheeks 😞😞😞”. Even though my skin is quite resilient, I’ve experienced A LOT of redness, dryness, and some sensitivity. The last product I tried was the skinfix (tagged below), but I wasn’t super impressed. Can you plz give me any suggestions?? Much appreciated ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Product Amounts

Hey guys 🙋🏻‍♀️ Just wondering about your thoughts on this trend. Anyone has tried these cushion face SPFs?? They’re like a cushion foundation, but no color cause they’re just sunscreen. I’ve been tempted to try them, but I’m not sure if they work 🤷🏻‍♀️

Cushion SPF

It takes me a bit to rinse off and remove all residue. Also, price point wise, it’s a bit of an expensive brand. You can find same great quality and ingredients on other more affordable brands. This little one I got from a discovery set that has 5 of their best-selling prods.

This has to be one of the nicest jelly cleansers I’ve tried 🙌🏼♥️ Had a very soft texture that turns into foam, is not stripping or drying at all, great for a wake-me-up morning cleanse or a second step of double-cleanse at night. It does have a nice, sweet and mild scent of blueberries 🫐💜 but not overpowering at all.

Where do I even start…? 😓

I LOVE Dermalogica, they make amazing products, BUT this one is such a huge fail: 
❌EXPENSIVE for how bad it is!! Certainly not worth the cost
❌The formulation separates (as in the creamy and the oily part of it, which should be as one). And no, IT’S NOT expired!
❌It’s also a very thick cream texture 
❌ It smells weird and certainly like a sunscreen
❌Super hard to spread (especially since it’s a FACE sunscreen, you don’t want to have to rub it hard and damage your skin by any means; completely defeating the purpose of applying a protective product 🙅🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️)
❌UGLY white cast (which is also hard to get rid of and even noticeable on light skin -I tried a bit on my boyfriend, his complexion is Eastern European white-)…..

I have tried a few different sunscreens from Dermalogica and they’ve been AMAZING! So of course I thought this one would be another one for the rated “awesome” list.
Well, I was very VERY wrong….and disappointed obviously because I would expect SO much better from them. 

Since it was quite expensive and I could not return or exchange it, I ended up using it on my body and since it is waterproof, it was fine for me to use while at the pool.

Bottom line: it was terrible, buy ANY other Dermalogica SPFs except this one; DO NOT waste your money!! ❌💸
And no, I neither recommend it, nor would buy it again.

🌞 It’s waterproof ⛱💦  This is usually the section where I type the most, but unfortunately this product didn’t make the cut in any way for me…

Nothing bad, just not a personal favorite because of the texture transformation when applied and also not a fan of the scent 🤷🏼‍♀️😕☹️

💚First thoughts and ingredients💚

Well, for starters, it’s kind of a “strange”, “different” kinda product. Certainly not what I had thought it would be initially lol. The name states it’s a “peeling gel”, and in my mind that’s literally what I thought lol: a gel that you’d apply, let dry, and peel (kinda like a mask, if that makes sense).

💚Texture, Scent, Application💚

The texture is not quite a gel, it’s more of a creamy balm with beads, think a scrub. It does feel like a regular scrub on the skin, BUT my surprise was that IT PILLS!! But it’s ACTUALLY meant to do that 🙀🙀🙀 So, here’s how it works: the instructions say to apply it on the skin, massage it in circles, and then rinse💆🏻‍♀️ While you massage it, it starts to pill, that’s the actual “peeling” part, which is meant for a slightly deeper clean and of course remover dead skin cells as it goes. The scent, reminds me of apples 🍏 🍎 and you can tell it’s completely natural (not added/artificial), it does smell a bit medicated though, I’m guessing it’s the rest of the components altogether.

💚 Packaging💚

Super cute aquamarine, soft plastic squeeze up tube. Certainly easy to cut in half when there’s no more product coming out hahah! 😁😁 No box or anything, awesome step for saving some paper and ink along with the environment 💙👏🏼

💚Personal Experience💚

It was definitely a new experience trying this product, especially since it wasn’t at all what I thought it would be lol. Mind you, I mean this in a positive way. I guess it’s just a different way of peeling and exfoliating. Not my favorite, but definitely nothing wrong with this product. I’d recommend if you’re down to experiment with different products 🧪

I must start by stating that PURITO is one of those brands that I absolutely love, since the very few products I have tried by them have been great and sat beautifully on my skin. This serum was no exception 🌊💙

🌊💙 The first ingredient, making more than a whooping 60% of the whole formulation is sea water! Hence the “marine complex” claim.

🌊💙 Not the second ingredient, but part of the “complex” and certainly an interesting one that’s also featured: snow mushroom. Since I didn’t know much about it, I did a bit of research and found out that it’s a natural ingredient with a hydration factor (due to its water holding capacity) VERY similar to the famous hyaluronic acid that is everywhere hydrating these days! 💙💙💙

🌊💙 The Snow Mushroom is also great to keep skin moisturized and helps with collagen production. When paired with marine water, it also acts as a visible shine and pore reducer! 

🌊💙 It feels very hydrating indeed. It leaves the skin feeling very fresh and plump. Leaves no residue or sticky feeling behind.

🌊💙 Texture-wise, it’s your typical serum; very watery gel consistency, easy absorption, lightweight. The fun and different part of it is the mini capsules in it. They are transparent, like the serum, but you can still see them. Make sure to pat your skin gently to burst them and help with the absorption and retention process 😊

🌊💙 It has no colors or scents added, which is great for those with any sensitivity. It’s virtually unscented. In fact, I’d say this is a product suitable for ALL TYPES of skin due to how mild and natural it is 💚🤍💙

🌊💙 Comes in a nice recycled AND recyclable box printed with soy ink (talk about caring for the planet 😭🌎🫶🏻👏🏼). The serum itself is in a clear/sky blue glass bottle container with a plastic pump, great for dispensing controlled amounts and certainly for hygiene purposes 🙌🏼👍🏼

It’s quite expensive for a 10ml tube ☹️ (About CA$30 after taxes at Sephora)

Major WOW 😮Was my first reaction to this product lol ♥️♥️♥️ It’s supposed to be a blush, but I-mistakenly- tried the samples I had on my lips lol 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ You can tell I completely missed reading instructions on how to use or anything lol, but fun fact, I did discover that this product doubles as a blush AND non-transfer matte lip stain!!! ♥️💖♥️💖♥️🤭🤭🤭

As a blush, which is what the actual product is, works beautifully! It’s a whipped gel-creme texture paint, and even though the colors look super pigmented, they go kind of sheer on the skin, making it look and feel AMAZING. My cheeks looked and felt velvety!! It’s a completely buildable product too, so if you want a bit more color intensity, just apply some more on top until you get the hue strength that you want (: 

As a lip stain, it’s just as perfect lol 😻✨I just don’t recommend for dry lips (like mine during Winter, for example 🥶) Unless you apply some lipbalm on top. But it works just the same on the lips as nicely as it does on the cheeks ☺️

The variety of shades is great 👍🏼 And they seem to be nice on every skin tone, so there’s definitely many choices for everyone. I had the chance to try 4 different ones and they all complimented my olive/light-med skin tone.

It’s also a cruelty-free and clean product, which certainly affects my cosmetics purchases decisions in the most positive way ♥️🐰
