There is a lot (and i mean A LOT) of hype around this product. The selling point of this product is that it is a hybrid between a toner and a moisturizer and while i don’t agree that it could be used instead of a moisturizer, it truly is what you would call a moisturizing toner. It gives some hydration but most noticably it leaves behind a moisturizing layer that feels like if you have put a thin cream on your skin. Depending on who you are and what your skin problems are it could be a good or a bad thing. If you have a dry skin or a sensitive skin that is looking for moisture and soothing it could be a great product. I was actually going to give it 3 stars because i was jusy not wowed by it, but when my skin got irritated by another product it has been a true saviour. So if you are looking for great toner for irritated skin, this could be the one. Also, if you have dry skin but don’t like long routines, then it’s an amazing hybrid product to incorporate into a routine.
Because it feels heavier than normal toners, it can potentially be a problem for more oily folks. This product leaves behind a moisturizing, occlusive layer, so it’s not the best product for layering - moisturizers, lotions or thicker serums would work great on top, but thin, watery serums or essences just don’t feel right on top of it. I sometimes don’t use it in the toner step but after my serums.

The Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer is a toner-cream hybrid product that delivers both hydration and moisture to my skin. I love the milkiness of this product (I honestly find it cute haha) and how it just sinks into my skin. A little goes a long way! I have oily skin but I personally don’t mind feeling greasy at night, so I tend to use 1-2x layers of this in my PM routine, but in the morning I would only use 1 layer. Whenever I use it, my skin feels healthy and hydrated so I highly recommend this product :)
For SUPER oily skin types and humid climates, this might be too moisturizing. It is also kind of expensive depending on where you buy it from.

- honestly, I thought it was just hyped so I wasn't excited to try it but I was blown away by the amount of hydration and moisture.
- since I live in a hot/ humid country 1 to 2 layers is more than enough.
- would highly recommend it to everyone ( especially dry skin ) looking for an amazing product for moisture during the toning stage.
- it may be heavy to layer for people living in hot/ humid countries
- may take some time to fully absorb

Refiner was the first product from the Cream Skin series, I think I saw it first on Liah Yoo's photo (just like Laneige Cica Sleeping Mask), and it was in my stash for a while before I opened it. I started to use retinoids in November, my skin went through lots of dryness and higher sensitivity to the ingredients. During summer my skin gets even more dry that's why I've decided to open Laneige Cream Skin Refiner. Laneige Cream Skin Refiner comes in white packaging with blue text and logo. When you open the paper packaging, you'll find a solid glass bottle with a white cap. The texture is like water but a bit thicker. It might remind you of diluted milk. The scent is creamy, but light. Laneige Cream Skin Refiner is a surprise. Laneige recently refreshed the formula and now Cream Skin has additional versions such as Cream Skin + Hyaluronic Acid, Cream Skin + Peptide, Cream Skin + PHA and Cream Skin + Niacinamide. The idea of the refreshed formula is great, but is it worth it to change something that's already perfect? Laneige Cream Skin Refiner is one of the best sellers, and I totally get it, the formula is so mild that even my oversensitive skin appreciated it. The cost is not the lowest, but this toner will be with you for quite a long time. For some people, this toner will be all they need to balance the moisture level of their skin. I have to admit that sometimes I skip essence or even ampoule while using this toner. I can't say that the change is astronomical, but it's definitely one of the Laneige products that left me with a positive impression.
The only negative thing about Laneige Cream Skin Refiner in my opinion is... price.

💙 @laneige_europe Cream Skin💙
💙What it claims: “Simplify your routine! A 2-in-1 hybrid that softens like a toner and hydrates like a moisturizer”.
💙How to use: for night and day. Apply a small amount with your hands and tap gently until fully absorbed.
💙Price: 29,99€ at @sephora_spain per 150ml
💙Main ingredients: Butylene Glycol (humectant), Glycerin (humectant), Vitamin E (anti-aging and moisturizing), Green tea extract (humectant, antimicrobial and antioxidant).
💙Package: it comes in a transparent matte plastic bottle really aesthetic and simply design.
💙First impressions: Although it’s a milky toner, it’s quite watery. Absorbs well.
💙 I’ve been using this toner as a moisturizer in my daytime routine in the summer months because at this time of the year my skin is really oily and it can’t stand something thicker than that on top of the serums I use. It does the job well enough. Now that the time is colder I use it as a toner for my daytime routine too. I y works well as a very light moisturizer and as a hydrating yet lightweight toner. It has a nice ingredient list and although is a bit pricey, I will repurchase it if I find it on sale.
The price XD it’s a bit too much for a toner.

I have a very dry skin and this product did wonders on my skin. After applying this toner your skin remains moisturised for hours even without moisturiser (though i would recommend not to skip your moisturiser) I have finished my first bottle and have already restocked it
A bit on the expensive side
Rs. 750/- for 50ml
Rs. 1850/- for 150ml
Also many times when i try to pour few drops on my hand, a lot spills over. I wish it had a pump for easy dispensing

It claimed to be as lightweight as any toner, but as moisturizing as any cream. It is a milky white in color with a thin consistency basically like water. It is an all-in-one product.
I just use this on its own and applied sunscreen on top since this product can serve as a moisturizer on my combo skin. Thats how moisturizing this is. And boy oh boy, I looked myself in the mirror on the afternoon same day I put on the toner, my cheeks and chin was covered by a lot of tiny bumps/ closed comedones 😤 nightmare!! This toner is not for my oily/combo skin like me. But I still can use this on the rest of my body so no worries. Definitely will not use this on my face ever again 🥺
