good review
I do love their light-weight yet very hydrating gel texture. No detectable scent, great texture and just sits in really well into my daily routine. First, the product doesn’t sensitize my skin in any way which is a good sign since my skin is quite picky with Vitamin C products. I know that it depends on the concentration and formulation but based on my own personal experience, my skin reacts better to the derivatives For any of you who have no luck on trying L-ascorbic acid product, I do think trying out their other derivatives would be your safest bet. Up to date, L-ascorbic acid would still be the golden standard, but it also comes with some downfall and the derivatives may help to cover it up in the cost of their effectiveness It helps brighten overall skin tone and help fades any hyperpigmentation from post-inflammatory-acne hyperpigmentation after consistent use for 2 weeks. My major skin concern has always been hyperpigmentation around my oral area. After using them for about a month, I can notice slight differences and even tone between before and after I incorporate this into my routine... Read more

The downside of this product is their label of 15% vita C complex is misleading. Since people may have thought that it actually contains 15% of vitamin C while it actually only contains 15,000ppm (1.5%) of 3-O-Ethyl-AA and the 15% represents the blend of vitamins contained in it. If you are looking for a heavy duty vitamin C serum that helps boost collagen production and tighten your pores, I don’t think it would be the best option.... Read more

good review
This vitamin C serum has a luxurious viscous texture. Its a thick, almost gel like serum, which is different for me as I am used to vitamin C serums that are very watery and thin. When you first apply it to the skin, it glides over very easily and feels sticky. That concerned me until I realized five minutes later that it completely absorbed into my skin without any tacky feeling. This serum definitely does not have the typical vitamin C serum smell of “hot dog water”, which may be because this serum does not use pure L-ascorbic acid, but a vitamin c derivative called 3-O-ethyl Ascorbic acid. I didn’t detect any noticeable scent. The serum is also packed with other skin-loving ingredients like vitamin E, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, collagen, matrixyl 3000, niacinamide, turmeric, glutathione, and peptides.... Read more
bad review
I’m not sure how effective vitamin C derivatives are. I did not notice a significant difference in my skin. I did not notice my hyperpigmentation lightening or my skin brightening. With pure L-ascorbic acid serums, I do notice brightening within a few days. Maybe I need to use this longer, so I will update later. I do not llike the fact that this contains retinol in the ingredients list. Vitamin C serums are generally supposed to be used in the morning and retinol should only be used at night. It is listed near the end of the ingredients list, so the concentration is probably very low. But then what is the point of including it in the serum to begin with? Retinol risks sensitizing the skin during the daytime in sunlight, so including it in a vitamin C serum that is generally supposed to be used in the AM doesn’t make sense.... Read more

good review
🍊 Star ingredients 🍊 15% Vita Energy Complex (composed of 15 vitamin blends & vitamin C) Glycerin Niacinamide 3-0-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid 1.5% (blend of pure vitamin C and a synthetic form. Blended to be more stable in light and air to enhance its efficacy without degrading and without the irritation of pure vitamin C) Vitamin E (bubble capsules) Panthenol (B5) Bifida Ferment Lysate Matrixyl 3000 (to name a few 🤯) - Price: $18.90 retail - Texture: Serum (see my reel for texture) - Size: 30ml - Rating: 5/5 I used this serum day and night for over a week and I really really enjoy it! If you want true brightening benefits from vitamin C this isn’t the serum for you in that it doesn’t contain enough vitamin C to truly make a big difference in skin tone or for lightening hyperpigmentation. HOWEVER, if you want a antioxidant rich serum with countless benefits to your skin this is one of the best well rounded serum. This can help with skin plumping, brightening, supporting your skin barrier, anti-aging, hydration, & more. The ingredients list is stellar & one of the best ingredients lists that I’ve seen, covering a wide variety of skin conditions. 🍊 Final Conclusion 🍊 If you’re looking for a super antioxidant serum, this is the one for you! If you’re looking for true vitamin C benefits, maybe a stronger formulation could help quicker and more effectively. Overall, I love this serum because I had absolutely no irritation and my skin felt sooo healthy and hydrated. The encapsulated vitamin E really feels nourishing to my skin and never felt too heavy for daytime use. I definitely will continue to use this day and night & hope to see some long term benefits. Want more details? Feel free to ask! Want to see more pictures and see the texture of this serum? Follow me over on IG: @skincareinhawaii [5/13/21] A nourishing & non-irritating vitamin C serum? If you have sensitive skin this is the vitamin C serum for you. 🍊 Skin&Lab Vitamin C Brightening Serum [Recap Review] Maybe some of you remember, but I already reviewed this serum before so please check out that review as well in you want more details. ~ Notable Ingredients: Glycerin {4}, Niacinamide {6}, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C Derivative) {8 - 1.5%}, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) {9}, Panthenol {10}, Bifida Ferment Lysate [11], Algae Extract [12], HA [13]… there are too many great ingredients to name. 😅 ~ INCI List: As I mentioned in my previous review of this, this is a very gentle vitamin C serum as it has a pretty low amount of vitamin C in the overall formulation. But, that doesn’t mean it isn’t effective. I do believe that this is more suitable for sensitive skin types or those just starting on the vitamin C game. This of course is known for the 15% Vita Energy Complex which is packed with many great ingredients from anti-oxidants to active vitamins which could really help the skin. ~ Nourishing?: I would definitely consider that this is a very nourishing serum and one that I love using morning & night during any skin condition because of how gentle & protective it is. I look at this serum as being a nourishing serum because of the texture and ingredients. I definitely helps to promote good skin health and protect our skin barriers. *This may be a little too thick for daytime use for those with oily skin. ~ Price: $24.70 ~ Texture: Goopy Nourishing Serum ~ Rating: 5/5 🍊 Final Conclusion: This is a great serum that I really like overall, but would consider it more as an anti-oxidant serum that really promotes great skin health than a vitamin C serum. I definitely feel like I have the ability to use this along side another stronger vitamin C serum to get great synergistic effects and see more of that brightening power come to light. ~ Recommended for: All Skin Types *Oily skin types (Nighttime use only) *pr, but my review is completely honest. 🙃... I think this is a slightly misleading product just because of the title. It actually has a pretty low percentage of vitamin C in this. But, I do feel this could make it better for sensitive skin types.... Read more

good review
𝙆𝙚𝙮 𝙄𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨: 🍊 Vitamin Complex (15%) - antioxidant and brighten up skin complexion 💧 Niacinamide - anti-inflammatory & treats hyperpigmentation 💦 Hyaluronic Acid - hydrates for dewy and plumped looking skin 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙢𝙨: Helps brighten and even skin tone. 𝙏𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩: 🔸 Typical viscous and thick serum texture with a light orange hue. 🔸 Unscented 𝙈𝙮 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬: I think this is the most gentle vitamin C product that I’ve ever tried. If you have sensitive skin and want to try vitamin C product, you might want to consider of buying this serum. Even though the texture is viscous, it sinks really fast on the skin and didn’t leave any tackiness nor stickiness. This serum is so silky and easy to spread on the skin. One full dropper is enough to cover my face and neck as well. I can see a slight brightening effect on my skin and my pores is less visible. Perhaps, I can see more brightening effects if I use this serum for a month.😁 It also controls sebum production and I noticed my face is less oilier than before. The price is affordable and I definitely will repurchase this serum.😉... Read more

good review
Thanks to @go.picky and @skinnlab_global, I was awarded the skin & lab vitamin C brightening serum. This potent, lightweight serum contains 15 vitamin blends concentrated with vitamin C. It helps to brighten and even our your skin tone. It is gluten-free, paraben-free, silicone-free, sulfate-free, fragrance-free, oil-free, allergen-free and cruelty-free. The key ingredients: 🍊Vitamin C + 15 vitamin blends - help to brighten the skin for a radiant, more even toned look 🍊hyaluronic acid - hydrates skin, leaves it dewy and glowly 🍊panthenol aka Vitamin B5 - supports skins moisture barrier 🍊collagen - helps with anti-aging 🍊 Matrixyl 3000 - helps tighten the skin 🍊niacinamide -supports the skins barrier It also conatins tiny capsules of vitamin E called the vitamin E bubble capsule. It's an oil capsule containing high content of vitamin E. Vitamin E delivers antioxidant energy to the skin providing moisture and gives the skin a glow. This oil capsule works by the extreme melting vitamin technology and delivers moisture as soon as it touches the skin. I actually really like this serum, it is fragrance-free and absorbs quickly without leaving your face feeling sticky or greasy. It is a lightweight serum but has a thicker gel-like watery consistency. I didn't have any irritation from this product at all. It is free from a lot of ingredients that irritate the skin. It really gives your skin a nice glow and is hydrating with anti-aging properties. My skin does look brighter and clearer and is more hydrated. I really think this is a nice vitmain C serum, especially because it doesn't leave behind any sticky or oily feeling on your skin.... Read more

good review
Packaging 📦: comes in a carton box. Bottle: It’s a glass bottle covered in light blue cover to protect the Vit C serum from light. Comes with dropper to extract required quantity. Consistency /colour/ fragrance: its sticky serum / Not runny consistency, light yellowish colour formula. It has very light fragrance which disperses very quickly and it’s not unpleasant. it's very light weight. Key Ingredients: Anti-acne: Niacinamide Antioxidant: 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid(15000Ppm), Tocopheryl Acetate, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Ascorbic Acid(106.05Ppb), Tocopherol Cell-communicating ingredient: Niacinamide, Adenosine, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Retinol Skin brightening: Niacinamide, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid(15000Ppm), Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Ascorbic Acid(106.05Ppb) Skin-identical ingredient: Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Linoleic Acid Soothing: Panthenol, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Bioflavonoids Claims: A lightweight brightening serum concentrated with Vitamin C to help brighten and even your skin tone. Effects: when I was looking to buy this serum. I had very highly anticipated the purchase and to try it. I don’t know why despite the friendly ingredients and being something that was suitable for my skin & concerns I feel this serum did not deliver for me. It had such high reviews, and it had such high recommended influencer back up. I did not notice a lot of difference. Although I used the whole bottle and I go through my serum bottle 30 ml very quickly because I focus on one product at a time. I don’t do too many skincare items in my routine, so I am a minimalist. I was hoping it would help me with my melasma hyperpigmentation issues but NO it did not. I must add it did nothing bad to my skin therefore it is very gentle multi vitamin formula, and it is not Vit C focused serum. I felt disappointed not feeling satisfied having used full bottle and not seeing anything. Pros: Suitable for all skins. Vegan, Cruelty-Free, No Parabens, No Mineral Oils, No unpleasant Fragrance, No Artificial Colours, 1 x 30ml. £18. 50. ... Read more

Vitamin C 🤩 who loves it hands up!!! 🦓𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬𝙨: Introducing a sensitive skin friendly Vitamin C! Lightweight and sinks into skin without leaving any sticky feeling nor tacky feeling. It has this gel texture and and glides smoothly on my skin. No strong scent was detected as this is not pure L-ascorbic acid but it is a derivative named 3-O-ethyl Ascorbic acid. Tho I have sensitive skin, I’m glad it didn’t sensitise my skin! How cool is that! Sensitive gang let’s purchase this! What I managed to see for the past 3 weeks of consistent usage, it really helped to brighten up overall skin tone and helped to fade away a lot of PIH near the jawline and chin area. ... Read more

❌ CONS * Takes a little bit to absorb * Doesn't have a real brightening effect * Might be a little heavy for summer time (for me) and oily skinned people ✨ FINAL THOUGHTS * Since it's packed with really good antioxidants and it hydrates my skin, this is a good vitamin c serum for daytime during fall/winter time and for people with sensitive skin. * For people looking for a good brightening serum to light hyperpigmentation this might not be the best option. * Overall, this is a good serum if you wanna add antioxidants to your skin and like a glowy hydrating finish. 3/5 ⭐️ ✨ For more reviews, follow me at @allovertheskin...
