Licorice is a herb that grows in parts of Europe and Asia. It is known for its anti-inflammatory and brightening properties.
๐ญ๐๐๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ฐ: Before opening this toner, I can smell its herbal citrus scent immediately. The texture is watery but surprisingly it is very hydrating. It leaves a glowy finish without any greasiness. My skin can feel the moisture deep down after using it. I have been using it for about two weeks and usually use it with a cotton pad. Besides hydrating my skin, it works well as a cleansing toner as it does remove the impurities on my skin. I love everything about it as it is made with natural ingredients. It is friendly to sensitive skin because it's free of alcohol, paraben, and artificial fragrance. I would recommend it for people who have oily and sensitive skin.

One of my favorite cleansing toner. I love the formula that contains green tea, peony extract and a high concentration of Licorie that can helps with pigmentation such as dark spots and acne scars.
The texture is so watery and smells like fresh herbs. My. Favorite. Scent.
Just like the good old days, this toner still does a great jobs for my skin. It cleanse my skin well, balances the pH of my skin, helps to evens out my uneven skin tone and provides hydration too
sometimes I feel like the toner leaves a sticky feeling

This toner comes in a transparent brown plastic bottle and white label with a flip top shaped cap. This indicates that this product is packaged hygienically and safely. The toner has a liquid texture similar to water, so it absorbs well into the skin and doesn't feel sticky at all. It has a brown color because it contains 10% licorice root water and isn't made from artificial coloring. It also has a refreshing herbal citrus scent. This aroma comes from the extract of natural ingredients contained in it. The key ingredients used in Acwell's products are Puritox Jin which consists of licorice roots, peony roots, kudzu roots, and cimicifuga roots.โฃโฃ

Apart from that, Acwell Licorice pH Balancing Toner also uses licorice root water which has been proven from decades ago to treat and soothe Korean people's skin when it is inflamed and sensitive in summer. I've been using this toner for almost 2 months. This toner does wonders for my oily skin. It's super hydrating and leaves a beautiful glow. I find that it has helped in smoothing some of my texture and other skincare products layer beautifully on top. It's amazing at removing any extra impurities left post-cleansing (they suggest to use this toner with a cotton pad). And of course, I would repurchase this one because my skin just love it so much!
They have a slightly herbally scents so for those who doesn't like herbally scents might not like it.

It has a licorice smell that I find kind of relaxing and pleasing. Great formulation
So this one is a bit tricky, it says cleansing toner which is weird. I starting using it as a regular toner but then I realized that It is king of wash off toner. I read the instructions and it says to wash with water after using this. Which I did not do the first week while I was trying it

Acwell Licorice pH Balancing Toner
Licorice itself has many benefits, namely; balances skin pH, rich in antioxidants, brightens and can disguise dark spots.
One of the best selling products from Acwell whose function is to moisturize and soothe the skin. The texture is watery and brown in color, the scent is very calming. It's quickly absorbed by my skin and makes my skin feel moisturized.
Nothing bad about this product, I love using it.

I love how quickly it seeps into my skin leaving an extra dose of luminosity to my complexion without overly heavy or sticky. It has sensory light herby to citrusy scent which is not too bothersome to me.
I have been using it nightly & noticed that my skin texture has definitely smoothen with smaller pores, brighter, bouncier & looking fresher. It also instantly perk up & energizes my skin.
Works amazingly as a first cleanser to remove any impurities left on the skin surface thoroughly by swiping skin with a reusable cotton round. Preps my skin well by adding extra hydration which allows my other skincare products to absorb better.
Strong herby citrusy scent might be bothersome to some people. Lighter refreshing scent that almost undetectable is better.

I've been using this toner for almost 1 month now and I can say it's a very helpful addition to my skincare routine. It was evident from the first use that this toner is very calming for sensitive skin. My skin didn't reduce in redness immediately, but the soothing effects are prominent. Whenever my skin feels itchy after cleansing, I rely on this toner to bring comfort to my skin.
Because of this toner's additional cleansing functionalities, I sometimes use this as my cleanser/toner in the morning time. Now I know multi-step skincare products usually aren't that great for skin, but if you have inner dehydrated skin cleansing twice daily can be excessive. So even as someone with oily skin, I don't always use a rinse-off cleanser in the morning, because sometimes that can lead to over cleansing which just creates a vicious cycle of have imbalanced skin and my skin will just get even oiler.
Therefore, as I said, some mornings I use this cleansing toner for both my cleansing and toner steps. It makes skin feel more refreshed and it's more impactful that just washing your face with water alone at the start of a day. Of course don't entirely eliminate cleansers from your routine when using a cleansing toner like this one.
It doesn't eliminate as much redness as I would expect from an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant rich toner.
It can take a long time to notice its brightening effects.

This is really good for acne prone skin . I love it . It last longer too like not easy fo finish โค๏ธโค๏ธ๐ฅฐ. It brightens and hydrate my skin .
A Korea brand . Good for sensitive skin too
It is my first toner so i have nothing bad .

This toner is really watery like super runny. There is a light herbal scent to it. The scent goes away really quick and I must say I like the scent. It is slightly brown in terms of colour.

When it come to hydration claim of this product I found out that I have to layer this toner 2 or 3 times for my skin to feel hydrated. One layer of this toner is not enough to hydrate my skin. Really don't mind layering this product as it sinks in immediately making my skin soft and dewy.
Since I started using this product for over a month now I haven't noticed any dramatic brightening effect with this maybe a tiny bit but definitely not something I can rave about. Maybe I need to use it for a while to experience the brightening effect.
