🔥A little back story🔥
I suffered from severe impaired barrier for 3 months to be exact (2020 dec -2021 feb )
Touching make skin burn , unable to sit near heater it used to aggravate skin redness and burning , faced constant redness and burning

It was severe i thought to go for a doctor but c0v!Ď was on its peak so couldn't go for it

It was traumatising both physically and mentally

One thing i learned from this is to never mix exfoliater and Retinoid 🙈 and always listen to your skin

Its never one days , its a journey of days or weeks or months

🌟Background history:🌟
In Japan women used to have white makeup/layer. Which was thick and stubborn, so they used oils to remove it Followed by a foaming cleanser.And it become a part of korean 🇰🇷 skincare routine

🌟Why i don't do double cleansing?🌟
Now both cleansing oil/balm and cleansers in general have surfactants in them, which have tendency to remove oil and water based impurities. It removes sunscreen too so I dont feel the need of using it on daily basis(unless the sunscreen is waterproof).I do use it on monthly or weekly basis or depending upon the usage of makeup but it won't be a part of my daily routine.₩

Definitely it depends on ingredients whether the oil cleanser contains surfactants or not

Then reapply often or use your regular spf

Reapplication is different from your first layer of sunscreen 
After 2hrs , your spf value lowers doesn't become zero(depends on which spf you applied and how much sunscreen you used, apply 1/4 for face ,1/4 for neck and ears)

Apply higher spf and reapply after every 2 hours

I was first scared to try it as at that time i had impaired barrier but it never burns or stings my skin. It helps to soothe and calms my skin. I love to use it when my skin is red or irritated, i see visible results.

This has to be my favourite and best friend during tretinoin. Very basic but does its job well. Very moisturising. If you take too much it will be difficult to blend. I love to layer it. It doesn't burn. The greasiness depends how much you have applied . A pea size is enough for morning use. I absolutely love it

Tbh i bought it with no expectations as i used to think that hyaluronic acid is Over hyped. It is kind of but damn when i added it in my routine, i was blown away. I have oily dehydrated skin, when i got it i had impaired skin barrier ,using it with other soothing ingredients it definitely made a difference. It increase penetration of other products. I can definitely say that my skin is not as dehydrated as it used to be and this one played a major role

I have never felt that it dried my skin
I never intentionally dampened my skin before applying it and it has never been an issue
Or if you think so use a light toner before

Avoid using it with Retinoids/acids as it can increase its penetration which inreturn can increase irritation
