After having used so many other cleansers for a good year or two, I can clearly compare this to other cleansers. Most of them are just too stripping on my skin or burn my eyes and are not for me. So for me The Body Shop Aloe Vera Foaming Face Wash is simply the best face wash I have ever found. It doesn’t dry out my skin and doesn’t aggravate it or cause an allergic reaction. Yet it still takes off makeup and cleanses my skin well enough and that’s exactly what I need this product to do.

Overall, I’d recommend The Body Shop Chinese Ginseng and Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask to everyone, regardless of your skin type (sensitive included). The mask is amazingly multi-tasking in that it helps clarify oily areas while also smoothing away dry, dead skin – two essentials for clearer skin. At the same time, it tones, soothes, and hydrates, leaving skin feeling comforted and balanced. The granules are not as rough, and the mask doesn’t cause any unpleasant sensations like tingling or dryness, making it great for those with sensitive skin who want all the benefits of a purifying and exfoliating mask, only without the unpleasant side effects.

I’ve been using this cleanser for a couple months now, and I really like it! The cleanser does not have much of a scent, and if anything it just smells clean. My skin does feel really soft and clean after using this product, but I haven’t seen a big change in my skin at all. For instance, my skin still gets oily quite easily, so I don’t think the cleanser has helped to balance it. While I don’t think it’s a skincare game-changer, I do think it is above average, and I would consider purchasing it again in the future.
