This product has been sitting on my desk for quite a few months. I got this from sephora favorites set of minis. I like how it looks with my other pretty in pink products. You know sometimes I just tend to buy things with cute packagings and I'm really drawn to color pink. This past month I have been testing and reviewing different toners and decided to give this one a try. I am very pleased with it. It almost looks like a serum. It has a thin milk watery consistency that glides and spreads smoothly on the skin. It has a scent but very mild and refreshing. Nothing a nauseating pregnant couldn't take. My skin drinks and absorbed it up very quickly. It brightens it up and gives it a glow. It is a very hydrating toner.

🍓MadeCera Cream Double Essence Toner 🍓 aka the strawberry milk toner • (I was sent from Picky + MadeCera for my honest review.) 🍰🥛🍓 This has become a staple in my daily skin care routine!! 🍓🥛🍰 A lot of toners that are advertised as hydrating toners, also include AHA’s and BHA’s (exfoliating ingredients) that can be harsh on your skin. Every time I receive a hydrating toner I’m so excited, only to read the ingredients and see it has hydrating ingredients, but also ingredients for chemical exfoliation. This can be too much for my sensitive skin. So I was so glad to receive this toner that is so hydrating and actually just hydrating!!! I’ve seen quite a few people have the same experience as me, which is that your skin is noticeably different after using it! Layering skin care is the best way to have hydrated skin, so a hydrating toner like this is important! When I first started my skin care journey a year ago, I just wanted to try everything. I received more products than I could ever use. But I wanted to try as many as I could! But my skin was looking worse and worse. Then, this summer I’ve stuck to only hydrating ingredients, with a retinol and vitamin c very rarely. This has made my skin look the best it ever has!!! I was getting red irritation spots that I thought were breakouts, so I was using more products! Which in turn made things worse! It’s all about finding what works for your skin. But hydration is for everyone!! Star Ingredients- •Niacinamide - Hydrates, calms redness, reduces appearance of pores, brightens dark spots, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, May even protect against skin cancer •Tumeric - Brightens, reduces blemishes •Ceramides - strengthens the skin barrier and moisturizes •Madecassoside - ancient herbal remedy- conditions and soothes skin soothing skin, anti aging •Asiatic acid - calms rough, irritated skin, softens wrinkles, protects skin barrier, and boosts collagen production I’ve not noticed any scent although it lists fragrance as one of the ingredients, but it’s at the very bottom meaning there is barely any. The essence has a strawberry, creamy, milky look. It’s a little more watery than essences and toners I’m used to, I like to apply it with my hands but the consistency makes it a bit hard. It soaks into skin very well. Super hydrating, soothing, and nourishing. It’s a great preparation for the next step of skin care. Makes skin look radiant, glowy and healthy, and feel soft. I’ve been using it daily! It’s become a staple in my skin care routine!!

Really good serum if you have rednesses, irritated or sensitive skin. Personally, I have active hormonal acne and acne marks. I really like the smell of it which is really important for me. Also, it is really smooth for the skin and you only have to take 2 drops for your entire face and neck.

I just love this product, it is a great foundation for any skincare routine. It makes your skin look better and helps hold another skincare product in place. It is great alone and fits in any skincare routine you have in place. Would totally recommend it.

It has a gel-cream formula that dries to a smooth powdery finish. It's powdery because of the azelaic acid granules after all it is a suspension formula. I use this product alone in the AM routine and i don't layer it with any other active just moisturizer and sunscreen. I don't experience pilling with that method. I alternate the use of my actives per day and per routine instead of layering everything on top of each other in a single routine. So far here is my progress in the pictures below

OVERALL: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This little bottle truly is like a magic potion. If you are after that soft, dewy glow and can afford this in your budget then don’t hesitate! The formula is renowned for being effective in addressing skin tone and hyperpigmentation concerns. You’ll look radiant immediately and can see further results with consistent use. I find that the application is very easy with the dropper provided and there is no stinging when the serum is applied to the skin. I have had this bottle for approx 4 months and it has not oxidised. I keep it in my beauty fridge and apply it only in the mornings, immediately after cleansing and before my toners and serums. It pairs well with the Skinceuticals SPF. The visible results has me looking forward to my morning routine every day!

Revitalift Triple Power LZR 0.3% Pure Retinol Night Serum

I only use retinol once every other week/ once a month. Retinol irritates my skin, but maybe I just need to try a different brand?

First I like to share my experience with using the loreal night serum revitalift with pure retinol . I find this does leave my skin feeling nice and moisturize in the next morning . But at first i noticed it was strong on my skin like leaving my skin feeling dry out in some parts. So I gave my skin a rest and did the recommend which means introduce this slowly to your skin on your face. It is easy to apply and has no scent. Also it’s best to use it only once or twice a week when you first start in the month your start . This way it’s not harsh on your skin. I will for sure keep using this serum to see more results on my skin.

Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Intensive Ampoule

My all time favorite serum

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Intensive Ampoule • I received this product for free from Picky and SKIN1004 in exchange for my honest review. • I’ve tried a LOT of skin care. And this video features my top 3 for velvet skin!!! (Plus some extras like masks for extra velvet softness) Since I received this it has become one of my all time favorite serums!!! [ [ My Experience ] ] — It feels like it forms a hydrating and moisturizing, protective layer over your skin. Most serums seem to soak in then be gone. But you can feel the softness and smoothness on your face from this serum. And for anything you apply after, it feels really nice with how soft your skin feels from this serum. I have sensitive skin with redness, so this serum has been great for me and my skin barrier. I definitely recommend it!! I love this line of products. [ Brand ] Skin 1004 [ Texture ] A white, milky ampoule, thicker than the average serum [ Scent ] None [ Benefits ] Soothing, skin barrier protecting, hydrating, moisturizing, softening, helps irritation and redness, and more [ Description ] This ampoule contains a powerful combination of probiotics, ceramides and cica (Centella asiatica extract). These are three powerful ingredients that work amazingly together to soothe, hydrate, soften, protect and repair damaged skin. I always enjoy extensively looking up a product and it’s ingredients. One thing I look at is an ingredient decoder website, which breaks down and gives intensive information of each ingredient in a product. And the site described this ampoule as “forming a layer that makes the skin moist” and I couldn’t agree more! This is the perfect description of it! Before I had seen that I had described it as feeling like it forms a hydrating and moisturizing, protective layer over your skin Star Ingredients Centella asiatica extract (cica), glycerin, niacinamide, centella extract fermentation filtrate All Ingredients Centella asiatica extract, butylene glycol, glycerin, purified water, propanediol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, niacinamide, lactobacillus/centella extract fermentation filtrate, 1.2-hexanediol, dipropylene glycol, polyglyceryl, etc

Belif The True Cream-Aqua Bomb is one of my favorite nighttime cream that I don’t want to skip in my skincare routine. It’s the best cream for its deep and intense skin’s quenching moisturizing affect, especially for those with dry and sensitive skin. I love the soothing and calming essence of the cream. It’s a very rich and nourishing cream that I feel is a bit too heavy for my combination skin and that’s the reason why I preferred to use this cream during my nighttime routine. The cream has a beautiful thickness consistency, and you don’t really need a lot of it each time. My skin looks and feels so smooth and soft with a long-lasting soothing and hydrating throughout the night. Waking up in the morning with a well nourished and supple skin is absolutely rewarding.

One of my top 3 all time favorite moisturizers. It makes my skin feel velvet soft. My other holy grail items for soft skin that feels like velvet would be skin 1004 probio cica ampoule, Sunday Riley Niacinamide serum, and belif aqua bomb. Along with Face Tory pomegranate sheet mask, Benton Guava toner pad as face masks, and NeuraDerm M T Biome sheet mask. I have tried many masks and skin care products, and these are the best on the list for velvet softness. It layers well and has no scent.

It made my skin pretty irritated too, that’s why I’ve only been using once a month! I thought maybe it was just my sensitive skin, but maybe it’s just the product itself ?! I have used one other brand that gave me redness but I was using every day and using more than a pea size so I think I was overusing it. I have some other retinols I can use, I’ll start trying something else!

No, you should be able to use it more often than once a month. I think that just like in my case, this product is not suitable for your skin. Take your time when trying out a new retinol product (you won't be using it every day - do a bit of research about the one that you're about to use and see other people's routines).
