Just a random fact I learned while researching this well known and highly loved Korean skincare brand! ☺️ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧? The Haruharu Wonder Centella Sunflower Makeup-Melting Cleansing Balm is a gentle and mild Cleansing Balm, containing Sunflower Seed Oil, Centella Asiatica, Plant Based Squalane, Jojoba Seed Oil, Argan Oil, Shea Butter, Tea Tree Extract and Vitamins A, C and E and promises a deep and thorough cleanse. It also promises to get rid of (waterproof) makeup, SPF, excess oils, sebum and blackheads while protecting the skin barrier and nourishing, soothing and moisturizing your skin. It doesn't contain any toxic ingredients like Sulfates, Silicones, Alcohol, Phthalates, GMO's or synthetic dyes and only contains natural oils and ingredients. This Makeup-Melting Cleansing Balm is suitable for daily use (haruharu! See what I did here? 😉😁), for all skintypes and was tested on sensitive skin for any irritations. All Haruharu Wonder products are Peta approved, meaning they're cruelty free and vegan and are packed with plant powered ingredients, so obviously, this Cleansing Balm is no different on that matter. A big applause for clean products! ☺️ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: This Cleansing Balm has no scent at all, not natural nor artificial. It's an unscented balm, which obvioulsy is great for all skintypes, but for sensitive skin in particular. I sniffed it for a while, but I definitely didn't get any scent out of it. Not a slightest hint of anything in there! ☺️ 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: It's a silky soft and buttery balm but it does feel quite greasy while applying. This balm applies quite easily and melts right into the skin while applying. When it's emulsified with water, it turns into a milky white oily substance with a nice soft lather. It feels luxurious. The Balm is easy to rinse off with lukewarm water. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: The Balm comes in a sleek looking plastic white container with orange lettering and a green bottom and the lid contains a little spoon (or spatula) to scoop up the Balm with. The spoon makes it really easy and hygienic to use the Balm. The carton box packaging contains an ingredient list and a guide of how to use the product in both English and, what I presume, Korean. The packaging is thoughtfully made from ecofriendly materials and even contains some text in braille to help blind customers. Not sure what it says though, since I never learned braille... 😉 Anyway, the braille contributes to what I call excellent customer service! Well done Haruharu Wonder! ☺️❤️ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: After using this Cleansing Balm, my skin feels soft and smooth, moisturized and hydrated, without feeling thight or dry. It doesn't really feel greasy, but it does leave a bit of a slightly greasy film on particular spots on my face, like my t-zone and high on my cheeks, below my eyes. But it definitely feels not overwhelmingly greasy anymore, like it does while washing your face. I find it rather difficult to explain, it's not really a greasy feeling. More of an oily feeling, maybe? It feels smooth and kind of slippery. Like I was a bit sweaty. The feeling is okay though, although I would like it even more if it didn't left that slightly oily feeling at all. My skin does feel luxuriously taken care of! My skin looks healthy and smooth. I don't wear a full face of make up often (only when I have big plans, like a party or dinner or during christmas eve, new years eve and other holidays) and I usually only wear eye make up like mascara and a kohl pencil on a daily base (sometimes a bit of lipstick or gloss too) but the make up I did wear during the days I was testing this product, was all gone after washing my face and my skin looks good, so this Cleansing Balm definitely does what it promises to do. And that slightly greasy (or rather oily) feeling I was talking about, isn't visible at all so that's excellent! 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: I like it, I definitely like the result, and I love that it's scentless, since I have rather sensitive skin. I also like the way it makes my skin feel, but I don't like the greasy feeling while applying the balm and, like I mentioned before, I would like it even more without leaving that slightly oily film on my t-zone after using the balm, even if it's not visible and almost not noticeable when touching the skin. The Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Deep Cleansing Oil is a naturally made Cleansing Oil containing oil from Korean Black Rice (that one was pretty self explanatory! 😁) and other botanical oils like Olive Oil, Macadamia Seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil and Jojoba Seed Oil. It's made of 95% natural-derived ingredients and contains only 9 ingredients in total. It's a mild and gentle Cleanser targeting make up, sebum, impurities and dead skin cells, excessive oils, spf and clogged pores and it's vegan, cruelty free, hypoallergenic and free from parabens and harmful ingredients. Apart from thouroughly cleaning your skin, it claims to provide moisture and hydration without stripping or drying out the skin and without irritations or breakouts, while soothing, nourishing and revitalizing the skin with every wash. It's should be suitable for all skintypes and mild enough for daily use, as it's also tested for skin irritations. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: This Cleansing Oil is unscented, which is great for sensitive skin! I actually sniffed the bottle and there isn't any noticeable scent, as promised by Haruharu Wonder. I honestly don't mind a scent, as my skin usually can handle a bit of fragrance, but I'm not a fan of most of the fragrances frequently used in Cleansing Oils, so I'm actually really happy that this one doesn't contain any fragrances. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: It's an oil, so obvioulsy, it feels like an oil while applying it to the skin, it feels a bit greasy while applying, but after the emulsifying and rinsing process, the greasy feeling is completely gone. It doesn't feel sticky either, nor does it makes my face feel thight or dry. Unlike the colorful bottle, the oil is clear and becomes a milky white, kinda runny substance when emulsifying it with water. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: The gorgeous packaging is what my caught my eye! This Oil arrives in a yellow to purple gradient colored plastic bottle with a white colored pumping system on top and looks gorgeous. The pumping system is very user friendly and makes it easy to dose the right amount of oil needed. The plastic bottle arrives in a beautiful looking purple carton box containing info on the brand, a list of ingredients and instructions on how to use it, in both English as Korean and even contains some braille, which, in my opinion, is freaking awesome! If you'd ask me, I would say more brands should use braille on their packaging! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: After rinsing my face with lukewarm water, my skin feels nourished, soft, moisturized and squeaky clean! My skin is looking healthy and radiant and I can't find any left over make up residue on my entire face. My skin doesn't feel tight, dry or irritated at all! 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: Those of you that know me or read some of my previous reviews might know that I'm not a Cleasing Oil fan in particular, but I really loved this one! I especially loved the fact that it's fragrance free, that it contains 95% natural-derived ingredients and the effect it has on my skin. I also love the gorgeous looking bottle it comes in, it's a simple and plain looking bottle, but the yellow to purple gradient looks highly intriguing and beautiful! I use it together with the Black Rice Cleansing Gel when double cleansing and I absolutely love them both! My Gel Cleanser review will be online soon too, btw! 😊 I definitely recommend the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Deep Cleansing Oil to anyone out there, regardless your skintype, and will definitely buy it again myself when I run out! The Haruharu Wonder Black Rice 5.5 Soft Cleansing Gel is a soft and mild yet deeply cleansing and moisturizing gel textured Cleanser. It was formulated with a light acidic formula of 5.5pH that promises to maintain a healthy skin barrier and contains natural ingredients like plant-derived surfactant from Coconuts, Fermented Black Rice Extract, Rice Germ Exctract, Korean Pasque Flower Extract, Fernented Bamboo Shoot Bark Extract, Ginseng Root Exctract, Isnea Barbata Extract and Beta-Glucan. It promises a healthy pH and balanced skin, to defend the skin's barrier, to unclog and to minimize the appearance of pores, to remove impurities, make up, SPF, dead and dull skin, to provide moisture and hydration, to soothe the skin and to minimize skin irritations without drying out the skin. It's suitable for daily use and for all skintypes, but especially for sensitive skin and was also tested for irritations on sensitive skin. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: This Cleansing Gel has a clear and dense gel texture when squeezing it out of the tube and becomes a soft, white colored, bubbly foam when water is added. It feels really soft and silky when lathering the skin. A very pleasant feeling! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: This Cleansing Gel comes in a matte purple gradient colored plastic tube. It looks pretty and feels soft and velvety when holding it, a very pleasant feeling! It contains a small amount of brand info in both English and Korean in white lettering and closes with a white cap on top. The tube is easy to handle and easy to squeeze. The tube comes in a purple gradient colored carton box with one white colored side, printed with soy ink and containing all relevant info on the brand, the ingredients and instructions on how to use it in both English and Korean, in white lettering. The white colored side is written in black lettering. While the tube has a dark to light gradient, the box has a light to dark gradient, perfectly complimenting each other. The packaging is looking very aesthetic. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: I usually use this Cleanser as my second step in a double cleanse, after the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Deep Cleansing Oil I reviewed before and when combining the two, my face is feeling and looking squeaky clean, soft, moisturized and hydrated. It doesn't really target redness but my skin seems to appear balanced and glowy. My skin didn't feel dry, thight or itchi at any moment and I haven't experienced any irritations or discomfort while or after using this cleanser. It's also perfectly usable for a single cleanse, with the same results. 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: I absolutely love this Cleanser! It's so mild and gentle but makes my skin look really healthy and clean! And it feels so soft, I can't stop touching my face! 😁 I especially love the results and the fact that it's scentless, which is excellent for sensitive skin like mine. The Haruharuwonder Black Rice Probiotics Essence is a very moisturizing Essence, claiming to boost and protect the skin. It contains Probiotics like Galactomyces and Bifida, antioxidants like Black Rice Extract and Bamboo Shoot Bark, and Panthenol, to strengthen the skin barrier, provide deep hydration, to restore the skin's elasticity and resilience, to improve the skin's tone and texture and to soothen and calm the skin. It also lightly exfoliates the skin, helping in removing dead skin cells. The golden ratio for a healthy skin barrier is 3 : 1 : 1 and that's exactly how this Essence was formulated! 3 parts of Complex containing 5 Ceramides (NP, NS, AP, EOS and EOP) : 1 part of Complex containing 2 Cholesterols (Phytosterol and Cholesterol) : 1 part of Complex containing 5 Fatty Acids (Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Arachidic Acid, Myristic Acid and Oleic Acid) and all together, they're working to give you that healthy and radiant looking skin you've always dreamed of! It's vegan (Peta approved) and free of toxic ingredients, GMO's, Phthalates, Sulfates, Silicones, Mineral Oils, Alcohol and synthetic dyes. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: This Essence is scentless, which is great for people with sensitive skin! It was also tested and approved to be sensitive skin friendly. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: This milky white colored Essence has a creamy, velvety, milky texture. It has a rather thick consistency that doesn't get runny or watery, but meanwhile, it still is really lightweight too. Due to it's consistency, you have to give it a good shake before using it and despite the slightly thicker texture, it absorbs rather quickly and easily too, without feeling too heavy, sticky or greasy. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: I absolutely love the packaging! Haruharu always has the prettiest looking products! This Essence comes in a chique looking glass bottle, in the typical purple and white gradient coloring. I love glass packaging because it gives any product a more luxurious look and feel. Besides that, environmentally speaking, it's obviously better to use glass instead of plastic. The bottle contains some lines in both Korean and English and info on the brand and on top of the bottle, there's a white colored screwing cap. The box this bottle comes in has the same typical purple and white gradient coloring and contains the brand's name in silver lettering on the front, and a list of the ingredients it contains in black lettering on the back. It also contains some text in braille, which is really awesome, and has a small curve on the top of the box for easy opening, which is such a good addition! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: I use this Essence after using the Haruharu Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner and it's such a wonderful combination! My skin is feeling silky soft and smooth, firm, soothed, hydrated and moisturized, supple and nourished and looks toned, plump and healthy. Right after applying, it gives my skin a healthy looking dewy finish, which I love! 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: I absolutely love this Essence! I particularly love the fact that it's vegan, scent free and suitable for sensitive skin. I also admire the fact that it doesn't feel heavy, despites it's rather thick consistency and that it absorbs quickly and easily without drying out the skin and without feeling greasy or sticky. Looking at it's hydrating, moisturizing and soothing properties, I truly believe this Essence is an excellent choice to add to your winter Skincare routine immediately! I would definitely buy this Essence myself when I'm running out of product!
