this is another holy grail product of mine! everyone is raving about this and i knew that i had to get it! i was using this just slightly before my Accutane course ended. this multi-tasking cream-gel has tremendously reduced blemishes and bumpy texture, calms the redness of acne and fades uneven skin tone and post-breakout marks (dark spots/pigmentation). you can use this as a spot treatment or just apply to the entire face. it is gentle and not harsh for the skin! i have gone through so many tubes and i just can’t live without this one!!!
NOTHING at all

I was more enamored of the salicylic acid and licorice in this product. It is super easy to mix into my moisturizer or use as a spot or area treatment because of the texture. It is not runny but still spreads so nicely. If possible, I may repurchase this but likely I will find a salicylic product with similar texture as a replacement.
I still had a good 1/4 left but the gel had started to separate. It was 2-3 months past its expiry date. The thing with PC products I realizes that they tend to "expire on time". To be honest, I'm not sure how much the azelaic acid helped. The hyperpigmentation left over from acne didn't really fade very quickly as compared to using an ascorbic acid serum. I

I really love this azelaic acid! I would recommend for rosacea sufferers as its really helped my rosacea!
I use this as a spot treatment & only apply it on my cheeks (where my rosacea is). It has helped to clear up my spots and visibly reduce my redness! I have very sensitive skin and this hasn’t caused any irritation at all.
My skin is so much clearer after using this product, definitely a holy grail of mine. It also contains my favourite ingrediant, licorice root extract, which i believe everyone should have in their routine - especially those who suffer with rosacea!
Whats good about this product?
🌿 azelaic acid - antioxidant, anti inflammatory, anti bacterial, treats acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, blackheads, exfoliates dead skin cells gently, soothes irritation, reduces red bumps & skin redness, evens skin tone, unclogs pores
🌿 salicylic acid / BHA - anti inflammatory, anti bacterial, unclogs blocked pores, decreases sebum production, removes dead skin cells, reduces inflammation & redness, prevents breakouts and treats acne
🌿 licorice root extract - antioxidant, anti inflammatory, soothes and calms redness & inflammation, reduces hyperpigmentation, fades dark spots, brightens skin, fades existing spots & prevents new ones, controls oil production, firms & tightens skin by regenerating elastin & collagen, contains amino acids which moisturise & rehydrate skin, treats acne, rosacea & eczema, fights wrinkles
🌿 adenosine - soothing & skin restoring agent
I would recommend this azelaic acid to anyone!!
I love this product although i do have a few bad points to mention (which is why i gave it 4/5 stars)
💸 really expensive product, i couldn’t afford the full size as a student and i had to purchase the mini / travel size which is only 5ml
there are cheaper azelaic acid products out there, the price dreally put me off
💸 the salicylic BHA ingrediant in this product could irritate your skin if you used it every day (especially for sensitive skin)
i use this product 2-3 x a week as a spot treatment because of the strong ingrediants and im worried about irritating my skin, it’s also an expensive product so i really try to make it last

⭐️Paula’s Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster⭐️
You probably know by now I love using actives in my skincare regime. Today I would like to talk about one of my favourite ingredients that I have incorporated for a good few years, 10% AZELAIC ACID by Paula’s Choice.
WHAT IS IT?
It’s a natural ingredient that can be found in wheat, rye and barley. Azelaic Acid can be used to fade brown spots, brighten skin and tackle breakouts. It is suitable for all skin types.
KEY INGREDIENTS
-Adenosine
-Azelaic Acid
-Salicylic Acid/BHA
-Plant extracts
⭐️WHY I LOVE IT⭐️
Paula’s Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster is a cream with a smooth and elegant consistency. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any oily, sticky feel. During my morning skincare routine, I would apply it straight after cleansing and toning.
It’s such a wonderful and powerful multi-tasker to include in your skincare routine. For me it truly helps with my breakouts, all those inflamed angry spots that take weeks to calm down and leave such dark marks behind!
Paula’s Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster also helps to reduce the inflammation, prevent bacterial infection and ease away any post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It also helps to calm any redness I might have, especially around my nose. In addition to these properties, Azelaic acid is also an antioxidant that contributes to manage my skin texture.
I love that the formula also contains salicylic acid to gently exfoliate and unclog pores which in turn prevents further breakouts. Along with salicylic acid, there’s also plant extract such as Licorice Root Extract which helps to even out and brighten my complexion.
With so many great properties, this multi-tasker is so well tolerated, I don’t really have any reaction/irritation to it even at the initial incorporation. It always plays well with my other active ingredients in my routines and I have tried many alongside it!
Great product for many of skin issues!!!!

📖 What it Does 📖
• Smoothing • Calming • Brightening • Evens Skin Tone •
🧖♀️ My Experience 🧖♀️
I use this either morning or night or both, after serum before moisturiser. My 4th tube I use as a spot treatment now, the 3 previous tubes I used all over my face. It calms down redness and fades dark spots after a breakout. It glides on easily and doesn't pill. This has helped me with skin texture, redness and overall brightening. When I get breakouts I use this on spots, it has antibacterial properties so it helps disinfect the spot while also soothing and healing.

💭 Final Thoughts 💭
This is quite possibly my favourite PC product and the best AA that I have tried. As it is a booster, it is formulated to play well with almost all ingredients. You can also mix it with your moisturiser. A little on the expensive side but was willing to spend on it.

Disclaimer! This review is based on my own personal experience)
Starting to use this product since last year. And i’m so satisfy by this product. Worth every penny for me!
There are few pros about PC Azelaic’s acid!
- It help to tackle my acne and blemishes problem.
-Helps to tackle my uneven skin tone too!
- Easy to mix with any general serum (I mix it with 6HA serum by Ruruberry) before applying it to my skin.
-The serum cream type is easily absorb and doesnt leave any sticky whitecast residue.
The cons?
-maybe the size of the packaging.
-Maybe PC can formulated a single one Azelaic acid without Salycilic too? Just to expand the range of skincare

Redness can be a struggle. Yes. In case you didn't know... Hi, i'm miss tomato baby cheeks. Nice to meet you.
Being honest, I'm not 100% sure if I have rosacea, but let me tell you my face can get red af. I've noticed that products with high concentrations of fragrance triggered my redness. So this product came to my routine.
My skin started to look brightener, my redness calmed down and my complexion was smoother. I like to use this, after my vitamin C serum in the morning and before my moisturizer, 3 times a week. This is a must have in my sincere cabinet. Smooth skin? YES PLEASE.
I tried to mix it with my moisturizer, but I didn't like how the texture came up. Instead, i use this alone or sometimes I mix it with my niacinamide serum.

This is the only product I've ever bought with high expectations and it didn't disappoint.
I mean if it did disappoint I wouldn't have spent the last few weeks screaming Azelaic acid at everyone and everything.
My experience: It does everything everyone says it does, brightens uneven skin tone, gently exfoliates dead skin cells, zaps pesky pimples, reduces congestion. In fact, if I stated everything this helped me with, I would run out of words. I really really loved it and it’s definitely my favorite purchase of 2020 so far.
I used too much when I started, but I texted @Paulaschoice, they said a pea-sized amount is what’s recommended and it’s only advisable to use once a day. I wasn’t doing that 🌝 in fact, I ABUSED this poor product.
Conclusion: I will repurchase and I will recommend this to anyone who’s getting off a harsh acne treatment and is just looking for something less drying with multipurpose effects.

The first week it produce breakouts. Probably is the salicylic acid, it’s a low concentration but all skins types reacts different. Anyways wait 2-3 weeks
