It has a scent which may bother some. I think it smells great. I had no irritation or breakouts from this. You only need 1 to 3 drops total. More will likely make your hair greasy looking. A little goes a very long way

Its too concentrated... i usually wear only half the applicator dose at a time. More left my ends extremelly oily.
