It melts very well to use as a cleansing balm. (I don't use makeup so I can't say how good it is at removing it). Best use is for a spot treatment for dry, tired or stressed skin. It melts into a thick oil which you can leave on, or wash off after ...

The fragrance is very sweet and quite strong. It is not the most moisturizing thing in the world. It's more for soothing.
