I really do love this sunscreen. It goes on nice and smooth, and does not leave a white cast. It also helps matte shine, which was an unexpected bonus.
One of my face lotions that I normally use at night (but used in thr morning, as I was sleepy) caused the sunscreen to pill, but that usually does not happen with my day lotion. If pilling happens for you, it can be the lotion.

I really like this sunscreen. Specially for my kids. The ingredients are great. It’s water resistant for up to 40 minutes which is really good. Like the smell. You have to rub it in really good or it will leave a white cast which is fine on children ...

Mineral SPF 30 Face Sunscreen Gel-Lotion
I got this product for UV protection but discovered that it's actually really good at controlling oily skin. My skin is naturally very oily and gets worse thoughout the day, but this stuff works like magic to keep my skin from getting shiny.
There can be a bit of white cast and pilling on occasion. Make sure you rub it in completely to avoid the white cast.
