It has an earthy scent that dissipates quickly. I always use this cleanser in addition to an oil based cleanser to get my oily/combination skin clean. By itself it cleans very minimal makeup/oils on the face. It’s very gentle and it doesn’t make my skin feel tight. I personally feel that this cleanser would work best for people with sensitive, dry/normal skin. I felt that without the oil cleanser it just didn’t clean my face well enough as other cleansers.
