Vanicream products are formulated for people with sensitive skin. Their products are dye-free, fragrance-free, lanolin-free, and paraben-free. It also does not contain botanical extracts, essential oils, nor formaldehyde releasers. This moisturizer also has the Seal of Acceptance from the National Eczema Association. I decided to apply this cream very thickly in my extra dry problem areas. It’s a good thing this product is very affordable so I don’t feel too bad about using so much each time. After a few days of literally laying it on thick, I finally saw the cracks start to disappear and my skin began to smoothen. This cream is able to do this because it contains petrolatum, which is an amazing emollient. It creates a seal from water loss and it improves the skin’s barrier function. This product doesn’t work instantly but I am now happy with the results. Since this product is so thick, I wouldn’t recommend it during hot summer months or in tropical countries as a full-body moisturizer. It is just too heavy. But it is the perfect moisturizer for targeting small problem areas since it’s very effective with continuous use. Love the ingredients, the price, and the results! So even if it’s a bit of a pain to use, I would definitely repurchase! ⭐️
