This chemical exfoliate is very concentrated so needs a lot of care when used. The solution is red like blood and a bit thicker than water. I use this chemical exfoliate once every one - two weeks and it works great for me. My skin always feels super soft and clean afterwards. It has helped me with acne and general overall skin complexion. Would suggest using a pH balancing toner before using this product to help the skin. The product doesn't have an expiration date listed but The Ordinary says that products usually last 3 years if unopened. ⚠️ IMPORTANT ⚠️ • This product contains ingredients that causes sensitivity to the sun so wear sunscreen the day after to prevent sunburns. • This product should not be left on the skin for more than 10 minutes to prevent chemical burns.
