𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚: $19.99 (50mL) [https://www.amazon.com/MAKEP-Essence-Hyaluronic-Moisturizing-Hydrating/dp/B07Y876CR9] 𝙏𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚: This serum is creamy and not too thick but provides extra moisture and hydration. I’ve heard that it is similar to @kravebeauty’s GBR, but I have not tried that yet. It’s not quite thick enough to be a moisturizer even as someone with oily/acne prone skin, so I’d suggest a layer of another occlusive on top! However, a little does go a long way and this bottle will last a while. 𝙎𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩: From what I’m told, the serum smells exactly like Tamanu oil (which I’ve never smelled), but it’s very herbal and very strong. The smell lingered on my face even after waking up in the morning, but I don’t mind it too much. 𝙋𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜: A+!! I love airless pumps - saves plastic and is incredibly sanitary 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚: I’ve been using this serum almost like a spot treatment and only in areas where I’m experiencing acne flair ups or need soothing. Because the main ingredient is an oil, I don’t want to use too much of it at a time since I also have oily skin. It has been useful in calming down my acne breakouts and has not caused clogged pores, but I spread it out in a pretty thin layer. My skin did not feel an instant “soothing” effect as I applied the serum, but I am able to see it working for my acne!
