I'm admittedly a bit of a skincare snob, and I thought that Glow Recipe was one of those brands that takes common formulas in asian skincare, puts them into cutesy packaging, and markets them at high prices to people who don't know any better. But oh my gosh, I recieved a sample of this toner and completely ate my words. Glow Recipe, I beg for your forgiveness. There are very, very few products that I can claim gave me visible results after one use, and even fewer that I can say give me even more continuous improvement over time. This product did both. My skin is very dry, sensitive, and prone to clogged pores/closed comedones. After the first night I used this toner, I woke up with incredibly soft, smooth, hydrated skin. My texture, redness, and dryness were noticeably reduced and my face just FELT healthy. It only got better from there. After using it near-daily for a month, I had to go out and buy the full size. Despite containing BHA, this toner is incredibly gentle and non-drying while still being so effective. The texture is runny but very viscous and slightly sticky, similar to a snail serum, which makes it feel very plumping as soon as it sinks into your skin. I can't recommend this enough and I never wanna be without it again. I am a changed lady!!
