I received this product for free from Picky and Plodica in exchange for my honest review.
Key Ingredients:
☆ Nelumbo Nucifera Callus Culture Extract
☆ Nelumbo Nucifera Leaf Cell Culture Powder
☆ Magnolia Officinalis Bark Extract.
☆ 10 types of Hyaluronic Acid (small & large molecule)
☆ Panthenol
☆ Citrus Junos Seed Extract
This particular skincare line is mainly focused on hydration for the skin. Suitable for normal to oily skin in humid summer weather, it’s light weight & absorbs quickly. The toner essence has a watery texture & leaves a semi dewy finish behind, while the ampoule is milky & bouncy, leaving behind the same dewy finish. Lastly, the moisturizer, is a cream-gel consistency that applies semi glowy & is quickly absorbed.
Unfortunately, I feel that this line is focused too much on humectants & not enough on emollients & occlusives. The hydrating/moisturizing feeling disappears too soon on the skin. Due to the southern wintry conditions I’m weathering, I felt this wasn’t enough to moisturize my skin, especially at night. If I were to try this in the spring/summer, it might have sufficed. This line wouldn’t be a good candidate for those with dry/sensitive skin, as this just wouldn’t be enough to accommodate the skins needs. Furthermore, I felt this didn’t help much with the acne & irritation I often times face. I can definitely say I won’t purchase this in the future because of the mediocrity of these products.
