Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% ~ The Ordinary This product is one of my fav acne treatments! After applying it reduces redness in my skin. Preventing & healing acne is one of the effects of this product. Azelaic acid is also brightening! The suspension contains tocopherol, an antioxidant. Unfortunately the product is a bit drying, but using a hydrating serum/toner will help. Why is Azelaic Acid so good? -Antibacterial power fights acne-causing bacteria -Regulates skin cell production, preventing blackheads -Anti-inflammatory, perfect for acne and rosacea -Skin-brightening effect tackles hyperpigmentation and melasma A short summary: ❤️Pros -Reduces redness -Heals acne -Prevents acne -Anti-inflammatory -Skin brightening -Antioxidant Things you should know before using: -Your skin will purge, but it will get better! -You need to apply it on dry skin -You need to let it absorb for awhile before applying moisturizer -It is a silicon based product so using it with other types of bases can cause pilling (I personally didn’t experience this, but I read reviews of it pilling)
