I received this product complimentary (free) from Etude & Picky in exchange for my honest review. Opinions are always my own. This is my experience with the SoonJung Hydro Barrier Cream. I want to start off by mentioning the packaging, as I love how minimumalistic yet, sleek & luxurious it feels and appears. It is also made to be convenient and practical as it has an easy to open twist off lid, another pull up lid (for extra protection, to avoid spills) and a tiny spatula that makes it also more hygenic, so you're not having to dip your fingers into the product possibly contaminating it. More importantly, the contents of the packaging is what we're here for right? I am beyond impressed with it and I honestly wish I had discovered it sooner! The cream doesn't have a scent and the consistency is very thick and buttery yet light weight. It applies so smoothly and it absorbs quickly without leaving behind any stickiness, oiliness or residue. My skin is normally more on the dryer side, and is particularly even more dry during the winter months so this came at the perfect time! I've even experiencing dry patches especially on my forehead & on the sides of my nose and after using this for about 2 weeks, my dry patches are gone & my overall skin has improved dramatically! I can't believe the difference it has made in not only in how my skin looks and but how it feels as well! I want to mention that I had no issues when adding this into my current (and elaborate) skin care routine and it played well with my other products and did not cause my sensitive skin any irritation. I also received the Etude SoonJung Relief Toner and Etude SoonJung Whip Cleanser along with this Barrier Cream (and added them into my routine as well) and I honestly believe the combination of the 3 products enhanced my experience. I think this cream is incredible on its own but the toner and cleanser are equally as good especially when used together in my routine. But back to the Barrier Cream - it has completely changed my dull, dry and dehydrated skin skin by adding an insane amount of moisture, making it visibly smoother, softer, and more brighter & radiant than ever! I can see and feel the dramatic difference! It was noticeable after even just one layer/application and over the last 14 days it's left my skin dewy, more youthful and incredibly bouncy. It's the most moisturized my skin has been in as long as I can remember. I've been using it twice a day in my morning & evening skin care routines. After I apply all of my morning skin care, I usually apply my makeup. Somedays I create minimalistic "no makeup" makeup look and on others I do bold glam. Regardless of which I choose, my makeup applies flawlessly & my skin stays hydrated all day long. I have even used this in place of my primer and when I do, my makeup looks great and doesn't budge all day. Makeup can really dry out your skin so I always recommend a decent moisturizer before application and this one is perfect for that! When I do my night time skin care and use this Barrier Cream, it keeps my skin hydrated, dewy and radiant all night & I always wake up looking refreshed with brighter & more youthful looking skin. This Barrier Cream has also strengthened my skin barrier & has improved my skins texture and over health dramatically. If you're looking cream that offers intense moisture especially during the winter & summer when your skins at it driest, I highly recommend this or if you suffer from dry skin in general and want a product that won't cause further irritation, this is it. I am totally head over heels in love with this product and am so grateful I was able to try it! I
