Yesterday morning I made my first Paula’s Choice order. I picked some items from my skincare analysis I took on the webpage & even scored 15% off with some free goodies! Last night I headed into the kitchen to refill my water & there on my counter is sitting a box from Paula’s Choice. I thought, “woah! Either that afternoon nap I took wasn’t just an hour but multiple days or PC has broken time & space barriers by extremely fast service!” 🤯 Well, to my surprise when I opened the box it was a gift containing their new product #PAULA'S CHOICE - 25% AHA + 2% BHA Exfoliant Peel[products]# I had seriously almost ordered it, too. I had to try this right away this am & was very impressed on first impressions. There is no scent & it goes on smoothly like a serum, which makes it easy to spread. I left it on for the allotted 10 mins & my skin didn’t tingle or turn red at all. It felt extremely clean actually. Very fresh feeling. It removed very easily with water. So what is this new exfoliant all about? Let’s hear it from Paula’s Choice: This concentrated peel dramatically improves numerous signs of aging, sun damage & congested pores. 2% salicylic acid joins forces with a potent AHA blend including 8.4% glycolic acid, 7.1% lactic acid, 5% mandelic acid, 2.5% malic acid and 2% tartaric acid for gentle (and fast!) multi-level resurfacing. Plant extracts like bisabolol from chamomile, glycyrrhetinic acid from licorice, & anti-irritant allantoin soothe skin while the acids go to work. Naturally derived butterfly pea flower calms & gives the peel its natural lilac color. The pH range is tightly controlled to stay within the safe & efficacious range of 3.5-3.9. This liquid-gel peel glides over skin & immediately goes to work to address multiple signs of aging. AHA, a water-soluble exfoliant, addresses wrinkles, fine lines & rough, crepey texture. Oil-soluble BHA penetrates pores to unclog, refine and soothe. The result after rinsing? Hydrated, supple, ultra-glowy skin. I can surely attest to that. Now I am absolutely addicted to exfoliating. It’s probably my favorite thing to do within my skincare routine. Why? Because I typically get results! Unclogged pores, clear skin & an even skin tone. I am not as big into masking as I used to be (my numerous bottles sitting half empty can attest) but I will always have an exfoliating mask/treatment in my cabinets. I’ve now tried several & I have to say this one by PC is going to take the place of YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Yerba Mate Resurfacing Energy Facial ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ While I like YTTP results it’s hard to remove & I feel I have to be very careful as it is a physical exfoliant & can feel abrasive. Important to note: Do not use other exfoliants at the same time as this product. Do not use more than once per week.
