These gel pads are soothing and very hydrating! They do decrease the puffiness under my eyes, but the affect is temporary. The jar comes with 60 gel pads and a small plastic spatula to help lift them out of the container. They pads are soaked in gel and can be pretty slippery to remove (and often stuck together) so i think small tongs/tweezers may have been a better option, but they are drenched in hydrating ingredients so it will be challenging for any tool.
