however I find that it does not provide me with a deep enough cleanse for my night time routine. I have used this as my second cleanser on days where I wear a full face of makeup, but it does not remove everything as I havetraces of makeup left over on my cotton pad.

𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 

The cleanser dispenses from a squeeze tube packaging. It’s covenient that the lid is attached so I don’t have keep taking the lid on and off again. 

This is unique as it comes out like a balm but then it foams up , it’s very similar to soap. A soapy foam

Although the name says gentle black facial cleanser , the product comes out of the tube as a white balm

I agree with the claim of the product being gentle. It does not irritate&#47;sting or itch my eyes which is usually a problem for me because I have sensitive eyes but this did not irritate them at all. 

It gently cleanses and removes dirt and oil and sunscreen ,

My skin does not feel dry or tight after using , that being said I don’t find the balm adds hydration to my skin.

Overall,  I find that it’s a decent gentle cleanser which does not irritate the skin, personally for me it would be better suited as a morning cleanser

This is the first eyelash serum that I have constantly used twice a day for almost a full month. 

I really like that it does not leave your eyelashes wet for long, the product dries rather quickly, even after multiple coats!

The wand is unique as it has a soft ball-tip brushes, this allows me to get to the root of my eyelash with ease as well as getting the lower lashes.

I do still have some eyelashes fall out, as I wear a lot of eye makeup and mascara but I feel like they look more stronger and healthier than before

It’s also great that the serum does not irritate or itchy my eyes (I have very sensitive eyes)

There is also no scent and the bristles of the wand are very soft feeling

This is one of my favourite cleansers I have tried , it has a gel formula which does not foam up. I like that it doesn’t sting my eyes or irritate my skin. 

When I have washed away the cleanser, my skin feels hydrated, it does not strip my skin or make it feel dry even after I haven’t gone in to my next step straight away.

I especially like using this in the shower, I usually leave It on in the shower to keep my face hydrated and it works wonders. I feel that it leaves a layer of hydration on my skin which I haven’t experienced with any cleansers I’ve used before

My skin feels soft and the product doesn’t smell much of anything. It is also gentle enough to use on my irritated skin

I’m almost finishing this up and I will be repurchasing as I like it that much.

If I get the balm in my eyes my vision becomes very cloudy so I need to be careful, that being said , it doesn’t irritate or itch my eyes. 

The balm does not wash away cleanly, once I’ve melted everything off my face using the balm, when  I add water the balm turns in to a milky texture on my skin. I then have to go in few times to wash everything away cleanly. 

The formula contains fragrance which is listed at the bottom of the ingredient list (can be sensitising to some).

𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 

This comes in a solid balm which melts in to an oil.

Ithere are tiny little beads within the balm. These melt once I warm the balm up between my hands but sometimes that’s not always the case as I can still feel them on my face or when i use the balm directly on my skin I can feel the beads as i start to rub the balm in, it acts like a mild exfoliation. 


𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

This is great at breaking down all the sunscreen and makeup on my face, it melts everything off of my skin. 


After cleansing my skin feels very soft and moisturised, it does not feel stripped atall, the balm adds a layer of hydration to my skin which is what I like. 

However, as I use this as a first cleanse I do go in with a second cleanser to make sure I have everything removed. 

Overall, this is not my favourite balm but it does the job and it is affordable, it’s a great option which does not strip the skin.
