The cleanser dispenses from a squeeze tube packaging. Itโs covenient that the lid is attached so I donโt have keep taking the lid on and off again.
This is unique as it comes out like a balm but then it foams up , itโs very similar to soap. A soapy foam
Although the name says gentle black facial cleanser , the product comes out of the tube as a white balm

I agree with the claim of the product being gentle. It does not irritate/sting or itch my eyes which is usually a problem for me because I have sensitive eyes but this did not irritate them at all.
It gently cleanses and removes dirt and oil and sunscreen ,
My skin does not feel dry or tight after using , that being said I donโt find the balm adds hydration to my skin.
Overall, I find that itโs a decent gentle cleanser which does not irritate the skin, personally for me it would be better suited as a morning cleanser
however I find that it does not provide me with a deep enough cleanse for my night time routine. I have used this as my second cleanser on days where I wear a full face of makeup, but it does not remove everything as I havetraces of makeup left over on my cotton pad.
