The Superfood Cleanser was my first introduction to the brand Youth to the People. This cleanser is considered a cult favorite amongst skincare junkies and I was incredibly excited to be able to try it out for myself.
As the name would suggest, this cleanser is jam packed with a bunch of “superfood” extracts including kale, spinach, green tea, alfalfa, vitamins C, E, and K. This cleanser has a thick gel consistency and doesn’t foam up too much.
While the upfront cost of the cleanser is quite pricey at $36, the cost per oz isn’t that bad at $4. To compare, the Krave Beauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser (my favorite cleanser) is $3.95 per oz.
Since this cleanser is more so marketed for those with oily/combo skin, I was concerned it might be too stripping for my extremely dry skin; however, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this cleanser worked for me! It thoroughly cleanses my skin without leaving my skin feeling tight and squeaky clean. This is probably the “strongest” cleanser that I can use without making my skin overly stripped. I like to use this on days when my skin is feeling a bit oilier or more congested than usual or when I’m wearing a lot of makeup to ensure that my face is completely clean.
I’m a big fan of the Superfood Cleanser!!
It smells like salad, which I’m not super into but I understand why given the ingredient list.
This isn’t a must have for me since I prefer more gentle cleansers, but I would recommend this to those with oily/combo skin.

Claims:
➙ Gentle daily face wash
➙ Formulated with superfood antioxidants from kale, spinach, and green tea
➙ Prevents buildup in pores
➙ Removes makeup
➙ Balances skin’s pH
This is a gel cleanser that turns into a light-weight foam once lathered with water. It helps thoroughly cleanse the skin, without leaving it dry. It contains many vitamins and minerals from kale, spinach, and green tea that all work together to revitalize the skin, throughly cleanse it, and leave the skin feeling soft.
This cleanser left my skin feeling throughout clean and refreshed. The antioxidants provide a nice buffer from environmental pollution, and the multitude of vitamins and minerals from the kale, spinach, and green tea help revitalize the skin.
Ingredients:
➙ Panthenol (vitamin B5, soothes and moisturizes skin)
➙ Ascorbic Acid (vitamin C, antioxidant, brightens skin)
➙ Kale Leaf Extract (high in vitamins and minerals, moisturizes skin, antioxidant)
➙ Spinach Leaf Extract (conditions skin, high in vitamins and minerals, antioxidant)
➙ Green Tea Leaf Extract (antioxidant, soothes skin, controls oil production)
➙ Matricaria Flower Extract (soothes skin, antioxidant)
➙ Aloe Leaf Extract (soothes and moisturizes skin)
➙ Glycerin (hydrates skin)
➙ Natural Fragrance (combination of naturally-derived essential oils for fragrance)
This is an ok cleanser. There is nothing in it that stands out, and feels like a generic cleanser. The antioxidants offer a nice buffer from environmental pollution, but there are so many cleansers on the market with antioxidants. Also, what is “natural fragrance”? I’ve never seen that on a product before. Is it fragrance from the herbal ingredients included? It sounds like an oxymoron, and it just sounds a bit deceiving. Either there is fragrance or no fragrance.
There are other cleansers available that do the same thing as this one, but for half the price. If you really want to try out this cleanser, I recommend getting mini size version to try. If you purchase the product at Sephora and don’t like it you can return it, even if it’s used. I returned products that I used a few times but didn’t work for my skin and was able to return them no. problem (even during the pandemic).

This cleanser comes in a glass jar with a regular cap as well as a pump. The packaging is very minimal, it’s a see-through glass bottle and has all the information written in black. I’m a sucker for minimal packaging.
.
The formula is beyond perfect. The cleanser manages to clean my skin in a very effective way but at the same time, keep it very moisturized. It actually has a gel-like consistency and lightly foams when it touches the water. It is extremely gentle yet it cleans the face thoroughly and does not feel drying whatsoever. Moreover, it’s fragrance-free and it does not irritate the skin.
.
Best cleanser I’ve ever used in my life!!!
This cleanser is GOLD I TELL YOU

Product worked great for my acne prone skin, did alot of improvement if you stay consistent with this one. Could be a bit drying for my dry skin gals but nothing a good moisturizer can't fix!
Price point pretty steep but I believe it could be worth the price for some of you guys 💓

I had been eyeing this product for quite some time and finally got to try it! Thanks to my friend who got me the 59ml version for my birthday last year🎊
It has been months since I started washing my face with this cleanser.
A little goes a long way and it's halfway empty using this every evening. It smells like kale which I personally really like! Also, the glass-bottle and light-green color look so pretty and attractive 🍀
The most important point for me with cleansers is that they are not stripping and this is one of the products that didn't strip my face off of its natural oils. Very happy I finally had the chance to try the Superfood Cleanser from yttp!
I'd recommend getting this especially if you've been curious for a while like me. It's not a miracle product and tbh not the most special one I own but it's nice to sate your curiosity <3
It doesn't always cleanse my face as thoroughly as I want but that doesn't happen often. It's also a little too expensive for the full-sized bottle whereas there are many good cleansers out there

Unfortunately I don't really see the hype about this cleanser. Its alright, it doesn't leave my skin feeling *too* stripped or anything, but its not much different than my $12 Cerave Foaming Cleanser.
I do love all of YttP's cute minimalistic packaging though as well as the brand's ethics, but this cleanser itself is just nothing special
Not worth the price, even if it was a great cleanser there's no point in spending so much on a product that's only staying on your skin for a minute or 2

This cleanser works for all skin types thanks to its not-drying and gentle formula. This Green Juice has a wonderful fresh and uplifting scent, and it is packed with cold-pressed antioxidants and superfoods to help repairing the skin and protect it from environmental pollutants:
🥬 Kale, rich in Vitamins C, E and K
🥬 Spinach
🥬 Green Tea
It has a rich gel texture which creates a light lather when rubbed on wet hands. Compared to gel face washes I have tried in the past, this cleanser doesn’t strip my face and never makes it feel dry.
I love using it as part of my morning routine because it does a great job at removing excess sebum built up during the night and my skin feels truly clean and refreshed. A must have during summer months!
Superfood Cleanser comes in a recyclable glass bottle with a convenient pump applicator. A small amount goes a long way so it will last you forever!
Nothing bad about this product

The cleanser itself, in my opinion, was a bit hyped up in the skincare community. I was so excited for this product, but it was not a good fit for me.
It cleansed my face, but it felt too stripping, especially considering I have dry skin.
I only made halfway through the bottle and I’m probably gonna let my boyfriend finish the rest.
The smell reminded me of men’s cologne and the product cleansed my skin way too much.

There’s something so special about this cleanser. Its incredible! It leaves my face feeling so fresh and clean without being drying/stripping. It has this beautiful airy foam to it that’s perfect 🤩. I can’t stand cleansers that are heavy foamers . 🤣
The ingredients are incredible, with Cold-pressed antioxidants:
🥬Green Tea, Spinach, Kale 🥬
I seriously cannot say enough good things about this cleanser! I know I’m late to the party, but if you haven’t tried it.. just do it already!
I’ve been researching the brand recently and I’m excited to try more from them! It’s a brand worth supporting. Their quality and ethics makes me love them even more! They aren’t afraid to speak on social issues. They’re all about sustainability and inclusivity. Skincare for all 💚 I will continue to support them 💚
Nothing i absolutely adore it

The only bad thing is the price.. it really didnt over dry my skin its just a little pricey...
