good review
SRP: US $28.00 Size: 45 mL/ 1.52 oz Period After Opening: 12 months Krave Beauty’s Great Barrier Relief has a greenish tint, a lotion texture which spreads well, and a natural earthy scent which I have grown to like. This is a serum but feels more like an emulsion and can be used as a moisturizer by those with oily skin. It works well over and under other products and it doesn’t have a sticky residue. It’s packaged in a transparent pump bottle. This serum is super hyped in the skincare community and for good reasons. It really does soothe and calm inflamed skin. It’s gentle and doesn’t sting when applied on broken skin or active acne. Heard that some people experience slight tingling but that never happened to me. I use this when my skin is feeling dull or irritated, however, I can’t use this longer than four or five days because it gives me cystic pimples. Despite that, I’ll continue to use this especially during emergencies when my skin needs some TLC. This serum is able to bring hydration, moisture, suppleness, and plumpness back into skin in just a few days. This, Stratia’s Liquid Gold, and Paula’s Choice Omega+ Complex Serum are my fatty acid rich products and they all make my skin feel healthy and resilient. GBR contains tamanu oil (10%), rosehip oil, and safflower oil, which are all rich in fatty acids and have regenerative and antioxidant properties. It also contains niacinamide at 2%. This helps in brightening skin as well as reducing signs of aging. GBR is alcohol-free, fragrance-free, and essential oil-free. Krave Beauty is a small woman-owned business that has pledged to donate 1% of its profit to global environmental protection projects. It’s always good to support small businesses especially one that participates in nature conservation and protection efforts.... Read more

This serum makes my oily skin look greasy and breaks me out if used longer than four or five days. It has a strong earthy scent that lingers for a while. I like it but some will find it unpleasant.... Read more

As it is a cream, I find that this makes me oil up a tad bit and it has an initial off putting scent cause of the tamanu oil.... Read more

bad review
Initially, I found the strong smell of Tamanu Oil to be very off-putting, and the odor lingered throughout the whole night. However, as I continued to use it more, I grew used to the smell. I also didn’t see a major difference in my skin, despite many people raving about this product. Also, at times, it made my forehead have a greasy after feeling, and when I used the product too consecutively, I would have small breakouts.... Read more
