🧼 CeraVe Renewing SA Cleanser 🧼 (For Normal Skin) - This cleanser is marketed toward those that have normal skin which I feel means that it’s pretty tolerable for all skin types and lays somewhere in the middle of most cleansers. ✧ Star ingredients ✧ - Glycerin (star humectant) - Niacinamide (skin barrier strengthening, brightening, oil control) - Gluconolactone (PHA exfoliant) - Ceramide Np (skin barrier strengthening) - Ceramide Ap (skin barrier strengthening) - Ceramide Eop (skin barrier strengthening) - Salicylic Acid 0.5% (BHA exfoliant, anti-acne, anti-inflammatory) (Ordered from greatest to least concentration) ~ Price: $10 ~ Texture: Gel ~ Size: 8oz ~ Rating: 5/5 Holy Grail 🧼 Final Conclusion 🧼 I love this cleanser because it has a simple & great ingredients list, but still gets the job done. The 0.5% SA is toward the lower end and I personally feel that it could be a little higher, but I do see the versatility of this product in that it’s not stripping and can be used twice a day unlike 2% SA cleansers. I’ve personally never felt striped from this cleanser and feel it’s perfect for me to get a little exfoliation to keep acne at bad without damaging my skin barrier. It’s a holy grail and will continue to repurchase.

I saw a slightly difference in my already existent spots (mostly PIE), but I did not see new marks while using it, so I feel like it does a better work preventing them rather than treating them. The best part of this product -and the thing I noticed the most- was how bright and dewy my skin looked after using it. It’s a 3 star product since that’s the “worth trying” rank, and I really think it’s worth to, specially if you are looking for something to boost your skin brightnes and fade some superficial marks. Targeted Problems: Hiperpigmentation, PIE, dull skin. Key Ingredients: ✨82.37% Citrus Junos Fruit Extract. ✨5% Niacinamide ✨Licorice Root ✨Arbutin The texture: It’s a super light weight gel like texture, it absorbs very quickly and feels slightly tacky afterwards (that feeling goes away with my moisturiser). Fragance: It has a heavy lemon/tangerine scent but I did not feel it after applied, in any case, if you don’t like heavily fragance skincare you should probably skip this one. Packaging: It’s a hard-plastic bottle with a yellow pump, it works well but feels kinda cheap since it’s not made of glass (it’s a personal prefference).

Love this HG right here. Been using this for 5 years in a row. I always made sure that I have this in my routine. I always reach to this especially on those days I feel like my barrier has been compromised. This also helped me with my PIH and healing acnes before. Not only that, I think it already helped my skin look younger and nourished.

In addition, the capacity is too small than the general cream on the market. Compared my before and after, my skin tone is obviously brightened, and some acne and redness problems have also improved and subsided. I'm satisfied with the effect, and I also like it's lightweight texture, absorbs quickly into the skin without any sticky, very comfortable to use. Was surprised that even though I am combo oily, my skin seemed to really love this cream. It glided on beautifully and left almost a matte velvet texture that kept my skin hydrated all night long! I have yet to find another cream that does the same.
