I always have mixed feelings when it comes to trial kits, sometimes you don’t have enough product to really test it out and sometimes there’s products you simply know you won’t like. The products:

🍇 NEOGEN DERMALOGY BIO-PEEL GAUZE PEELING GREEN TEA AND WINE 
Super easy to use exfoliating pads with dual texture that helps you gently remove dead skin cells, excess oil and impurities without irritating the skin. 
The wine version contains incredible antioxidants like resveratrol and a sweet bubble gum type scent.
The green tea version contains ingredients like green tea and centella asiatica that help soothe the skin while exfoliating and refreshing floral scent.
If your skin is sensitive to fragrances you should definitely proceed with caution.
Personally, I don’t love the amount of waste these pads produce so I would not re-purchase.

🍶 NEOGEN DERMALOGY REAL FERMENT MICRO ESSENCE
This is a very hydrating essence with a watery texture that absorbs incredibly fast. The formula contains 90% natural fermented ingredients that help hydrate and moisturize the skin while protecting the skin barrier and increasing elasticity. This is one of those I wish I could try for longer to see the full benefits… Definitely adding it to my shopping cart!

🌼 NEOGEN DERMALOGY CLEANSING WATER CALENDULA
Full review on a previous post, but this product was simply not for me. It is not strong enough to remove my makeup easily, leaves a soapy/tacky feeling after using it, it contains a lot of fragrances and left me with very sensitized skin that started flaking around the mouth. If you like micellar water this might be worth the try. Definitely would not re-purchase

🍊 NEOGEN DERMALOGY REAL VITA C SERUM
I have really mixed feelings about this one. The texture feels as a middle point between a serum and a toner. Not all Vitamin C’s are made equal and unfortunately this serum is formulated with Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate a Vitamin C derivative that’s not as potent as L-Ascorbic Acid.
What I did like was that the formula contains collagen, panthenol and hyaluronic acid, which help avoid irritating the skin while keeping it hydrated. Still this is another one I would not repurchase.

I received this product for free from Picky and Medicube to test and review and so far I’ve been extremely pleased.

✨ Triple Collagen Glass Glow Toner 3.0

Let’s start with everything I loved about the Triple Collagen Glass Glow Toner 3.0…. The texture is extremely rich and absorbs quickly without leaving a tacky finish. When applying it you can feel the deep nourishing and moisturizing effect I look for in the winter.  I’ve used it in my morning and night routine and it has worked perfectly with my other skincare products and makeup. 

It contains an amazing list of ingredients that includes 3 types of collagen plus some of my all time favorites, such as Glycerin (humectant), Niacinamide (supports skin barrier and balance oil production) and Hyaluronic Acid (humectant). 

I will say that when I first tried it in my hand I felt a little anxious due to the strong fragrance. Though it smells amazing  I tend to have a 50/50 chance of irritation and my skin was already sensitive due to the use of another product so I was a bit worried. Luckily I had no adverse reactions to this, to the contrary, I feel it’s been helping a lot with the flaking around my mouth.

✨ Triple Deep Erasing Cream

I’m a big fan of moisturizers and, from this year’s line-up, this was one of the products I was the most excited to try. Lucky for me it did not disappoint! 

It is formulated with collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid and 16 patented ingredients and has an incredibly rich and occlusive texture. I’ve been using it as the last step of my nighttime routine and a couple times in the morning before applying SPF. When waking up my skin feels soft and hydrated and the appearance of pores and fine lines are visibly reduced. The brand’s clinical results show this product reverses the signs of aging in as fast as 2 weeks so I’m definitely looking forward to continue using it and see the results. 

Unfortunately, this product is too much for me when including it in my morning routine. My skin looked too shiny and my makeup began peeling. I’ll definitely try it again once the weather gets colder! If you have sensitive skin you should definitely keep in mind the added fragrance, though it did not cause irritation on me. 

If you’re looking to try a new thick and deeply nourishing moisturizer for this winter season (or any season really…) this could be perfect option for you! 

✨ Deep Vita C Serum

I’ve only been using the product for a few days so this is only a first impressions… This cruelty-free formulation contains 13.5% ascorbic acid which is a great level to obtain the ingredient’s maximum effectiveness to treat hyperpigmentation and boos skin’s elasticity. 

Like many other vitamin c products, it has funky smell, but it is nowhere as bad as other products I’ve tried. I’ve applied it in the morning and there has been no irritation or sensitivity. It absorbs quickly and works well under makeup but it does a shiny finish with a bit of a sticky feeling. 

It is packaged in 3 little bottles which helps keep the product stable and avoid oxidation for longer. The material of the bottle is made of a light plastic that takes from that luxe feel the general design is aiming for and at time it’s difficult to get the product out. 

Unfortunately, the ingredient list is super long and contains fragrance which are never my cup of tea. I am tracking some dar sports and will report back if the results are positive!

Lots of scent which might not be everyone’s choice. 

The texture and scent of this moisturizer is absolutely amazing! I have sensitive skin and I’m always worried about strong scents since I don’t know how I’ll react, but had no problems with it. The consistency is deliciously thick and love it as a night moisturizer. 

Try to avoid thick moisturizers or it might be a bit much. 

My experience so far has been very positive. The formula feels very hydrating with the texture of a gel moisturizer, blends super easily and leaves no white cast. I felt it was very light, my husband feels it was heavier than other sunscreens we use. It works very well under makeup (both glowy and matte formulas) as well as with other skincare products. 

Centella Asiatica extract contains 3 ingredients and 95% centella asiatica extract. It has a very watery texture with a nice herbal scent. I applied by pressing it with my hands into the skin (like I do with most toners) and it absorbed very quickly but it didn’t feel hydrating enough so I went with a second layer which I didn’t mind because its very soothing and refreshing. 

Unfortunately there are some areas it is definitely lacking. Biggest miss is there’s no shade selection. I’m usually a light-tan with neutral undertones and this is a bit to light for me. First time I used it I was super disappointed looking at the “mask effect”, but then made it work with a bit of bronzer. That being said I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with deeper skin tones. Also, though once it’s blended it looks beautiful, it took longer to blend than other sunscreens I love. 

I have combination sensitive skin and the formula felt amazing. It has great coverage, absorbs nicely and leaves a natural glowy finish. It worked well with my skincare products and didn’t peel or looked cakey and the coverage stayed out all day. It feels very hydrating and I think it’s perfect for dryer skin. 

What we didn’t love: While I absolutely loved it when I first got it and was ready to call it a HG, the last few times I’ve used it it started to sting around my eyes, it’s not super bad but it is there. I am not sure if it’s not mixing well with another product or one of the ingredients is now causing sensitivity. On the other hand, while I think it provided the right hydration for my combo skin, I think it might not be enough for dry skin and a bit too much for people on the oilier side.

Picky gifted me the Thank Sun Project Skin Relief Sun Cream  in exchange for my honest review and here are my thoughts…

What we love: The formula is very light, leaves no white cast and offers SPF50+ PA++++ sun protection. It worked really well with all my different skin tints/foundations and left a beautiful dewy finish. It contains centella asiatica and is reef friendly and cruelty free!
