I can assure you that this Great Barrier Relief has not only fixed and restored my skin, but most importantly, it has returned me my confidence. ššš
Kinda small for its price, but since it really fixes my skin, I think it's okay....

The texture is creamy yet light and absorbs right away into your skin. My skin is less inflamed and the rosacea is under control. But just like most products on the market, you have to be patient and consistent with it. This serum will not soothe your skin immediately but it will deliver results in the long run, most importantly, it will help restore your skin barrier. Definitely recommend!
Strong herbal scent from Tamanu Oil might be too much for those with sensitive noses.

Has been my holy grail for more than a year ! As a skincare enthusiast it means a lot since I tried out a lot of products and by means, nothing has ever compete with this one serum for over a year. Love the texture, felt more like a lotion than a serum in general. Like to use it when my skin is acting up and never fails to calm them down!
The scent is a little bit strong at first, but I got used to it and associate it as a healing scent haha

Heaven sent....This is the best for red marks/pigmentation etc.
Last year my skin went into its most horrible state. I had all this acne bc of hormones, stress, maskne and a breakout (reaction to another product). Worst part about it they left me with Red marks all over my face! Ive been following Liah Yoo for a few months then and I was really convinced that this product would really help. And it did!!! You guys, this is a staple in your skincare and medicine cabinet haha.
BTW this has an earthy woody nutty smell. Doesnt bother me. I actually love it coz it makes me feel like im using natures powers on my face!
None.
But I cant buy directly so I have to ask someone from Korea to ship it for me. It takes months to arrive and wc makes it pricey in my case. Not complaining! Bc the product is worth the wait.

SRP: US $28.00
Size: 45 mL/ 1.52 oz
Period After Opening: 12 months
Krave Beautyās Great Barrier Relief has a greenish tint, a lotion texture which spreads well, and a natural earthy scent which I have grown to like. This is a serum but feels more like an emulsion and can be used as a moisturizer by those with oily skin. It works well over and under other products and it doesnāt have a sticky residue. Itās packaged in a transparent pump bottle.
This serum is super hyped in the skincare community and for good reasons. It really does soothe and calm inflamed skin. Itās gentle and doesnāt sting when applied on broken skin or active acne. Heard that some people experience slight tingling but that never happened to me.
I use this when my skin is feeling dull or irritated, however, I canāt use this longer than four or five days because it gives me cystic pimples. Despite that, Iāll continue to use this especially during emergencies when my skin needs some TLC. This serum is able to bring hydration, moisture, suppleness, and plumpness back into skin in just a few days. This, Stratiaās Liquid Gold, and Paulaās Choice Omega+ Complex Serum are my fatty acid rich products and they all make my skin feel healthy and resilient.
GBR contains tamanu oil (10%), rosehip oil, and safflower oil, which are all rich in fatty acids and have regenerative and antioxidant properties. It also contains niacinamide at 2%. This helps in brightening skin as well as reducing signs of aging. GBR is alcohol-free, fragrance-free, and essential oil-free.
Krave Beauty is a small woman-owned business that has pledged to donate 1% of its profit to global environmental protection projects. Itās always good to support small businesses especially one that participates in nature conservation and protection efforts.
This serum makes my oily skin look greasy and breaks me out if used longer than four or five days. It has a strong earthy scent that lingers for a while. I like it but some will find it unpleasant.

Great Barrier Relief from @kravebeauty
---
⢠Notable ingredients: 10% tamanu oil, safflower oil, rosehip oil, niacinamide/vit B3, NMF, Squalane, Ceramide
⢠Texture is a pale green, super-creamy light lotion, easy to spread and absorbs relatively fast. Smells exactly like tamanu oil but this has a milder scent and Iām okay with that
⢠The bottle itself is a sturdy transparent plastic bottle with a pump and opaque white cap.

Iāve been using this for almost six months and itās every bit as good as it promises. A lil information, I only use this product when my skin is sensitize, some flakiness and inflammation or when it needs some healing. Also, I put this product as a moisturizer (not a serum) at my evening routine only.
After many trial and errors, I honestly have mixed feelings about the product. While I do like the texture, Iāve learned that 1-2 pumps is enough per use because I feel so nourished. It adds so much moisture on my skin.
Other than that, Iāve noticed that the patch of irritated, itchy skin on my cheek is now much calmer and less inflamed but havenāt noticed much with my hyperpigmentation.
It adds so much moisture on my skin, so I did trial and error numerous time to get the right way

This has helped calm down my overly sensitized skin and restored my skin barrier! My skin feels really plump and healthy now!
As it is a cream, I find that this makes me oil up a tad bit and it has an initial off putting scent cause of the tamanu oil.

I use this serum as a moisturizer because it is too thick. I seldom use it because I find that it doesn't really do much for my skin. I use this at night because in the morning it makes my skin greasy throughout the day. I still prefer my First Aid Beauty ultra repair cream over this.
It is expensive. Overhyped. Smells like rotten eggs.

I absolutely love this serum. I say serum because thatās what I used it as. Last year I over-exfoliated my skin and damaged my moisture barrier in doing so. My skin was so dehydrated, so irritated. I needed help fast, so I threw together a reparative routine and this was the star product. I wanted to keep it simple and to the point and thatās exactly what I would describe this serum as. It has ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids otherwise known as the trifecta ( @kelldris ). These ingredients are THE IT INGREDIENTS when repairing a damaged moisture barrier. It doesnāt have them in the ideal ratio, but it definitely worked hard to repair my skin. It also features 10% tamanu oil that is amazing for wound healing and moisture on the skin. It also has brightening properties which I definitely saw especially paired with the niacinamide in this product. It took a long time to lighten my scars but I did see a difference over all, however it was very minor and that sounds about right considering it isnāt the main function of the product. This is definitely an amazing SERUM for my dehydrated combo skin when it is mostly dry.
Tamanu oil does go rancid after a time, it took a year for this product to go bad though. Once it goes bad, definitely dont use it or you will get little red bumps. Other than that, amazing.
