The smell is shocking, it&#39;s way too overpowering, I didn&#39;t enjoy every bits of it. I can still clearly remember the scent right now. The texture is suffocating and unpleasant as well, both texture and scent remain on top of me and haunt overnight. Well it&#39;s suppose to keep myself relax but unfortunately it does the opposite.. Disclaimer: take it with a grain of salt because scent thingy it&#39;s completely biased. I can&#39;t think of any more benefits from using this product, I believe there are many night cream that do much better than this. Sorry but I totally can&#39;t see myself repurchase or recommend this product

I was intrigued by the word &#39;pollutant defending&#39; on this product. This is basically an &quot;anti-pollution&quot; leave-on mask and the how to is pretty unique: apply a visible layer on the skin, wait for several minutes then tissue off, pat in the excess and you just leave it overnight. However it seems a hassle to me so I used it normally like moisturiser but super duper thinly.

This mask aims to strengthen skin barrier for a healthier skin, also nourish and replenish dull skin. Main ingredients include cilantro and orange extract which is rich in antioxidants to defend skin from environmental aggressors or free radicals.

The consistency is thick creamy paste and has strong exotic herbal smell. I feel like it would congest my skin, thankfully it didn&#39;t cause me any breakouts. It holds moisture on my skin throughout the night, keep it smooth and not trigger excessive oil production.

I noticed tingling sensation every time I used it and noticed redness in skin so after few uses I stopped using it.

Guess it’s not for my thin sensitive skin

Kiehl’s Cilantro &amp; Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Masque claims to be a protective and replenishing overnight facial mask that defends against impurities and environmental aggressors. I must admit pollution is not something I have considered when looking for skin care, but now I am more aware of it. 

The Cilantro &amp; Orange Extract mask is a leave on mask. Texture wise, it is a smooth and creamy pistachio-coloured paste with the consistency of a cream.

As I expected, the cream mask does have a rather sharp, green scent, a little reminiscent of this pungent herb so be sure to take a sniff to see if you like it.

While it’s well known for its dirt-pulling properties, it’s considered gentle enough for sensitive skin, and has been shown in studies to be non-irritating however I noticed tingling sensation every time I used it and noticed redness in skin so after few uses I stopped using it.

Where should i start…..
It has very strong overpowering scent. I have never smelt anything like this in the cosmetic industry. It almost smells like those minty pain relieving balms.

Texture is really heavy and uncomfortable on the skin. I use petroleum jelly for slugging and this mask is even more uncomfortable. Its should give you an idea

It makes my face sweat, maybe because of its texture

Won’t repurchase

I mean i don’t know about the anti-pollution claims but i liked it as a leave on mask for overnight. I think whole wiping off excess is the wastage of product. Its thick paste like texture which i think should be added to its bad sides. It leaves skin moisturized and soft. Lasts forever

I love this mask. It is very soothing and revives my skin when dull and stressed. I wil use thin layer as a sleeping mask and wash off in the morning.
